...a Druid Grove who uses the Norse Pantheon as their main deity structure? I never knew this was possible, but in the Druid Grove Litha ritual I attended yesterday, the HP and the members used Norse Gods and Goddesses (namely Thor, Freyja and Ygdrassil were mentioned).

I posted this in another forum and Mairwen is scratching her head on this one, so I thought I'd move this to the Druid section.

Um, nope. In GENERAL, druids are considered to be celtic pagans, so that the main pantheon of all druids that I know of are drawn from a celtic nation pantheon. I do know of some (my own included) groves who will sometimes include certain Norse dieties in certain rituals, but the main pantheon is normally celtic.

Good question, Raevyn! I was at the same rit as Raevyn was, and yes, the members called on and thanked dieties from Norce, Celtic and Roman pantheons. The grove is an ADF grove, though.

Interested in feedback,

That's kinda the answer right there--ADF, regardless of the name, is actually into bringing back the Indo-European religions. I'm also a member of the ADF and from what I've seen, there are an awful lot of practices that are justified by the belief that a great many cultures are IE if one goes back far enough.
