Spell ideas for housing project and sanity?

I hate asking for spell suggestions, but I need some help getting the Universe to give my town's building dept a kick in the pants. It is to the point here where is is more than frustrating.

I seem to be blanking out on what elements of a spell I would need- I am looking to do something to help the paperwork end of this process go smoothly while keeping a peaceful and positive relationship with the inspectors.

Also I got some news about the builder from a "friend" that is deflating my confidence in him. I have doubts of the truth of the message, yet at the same time, this is a *huge* project and I need him to not screw me and my family over.

Any thoughts?

I am only new to all of this but i find candle magick easiest for me to use. Usually if i want a spell (maybe in your case a good luck spell, or to make major plans run smoothly) i will research all the elements needed, like oils, herbs, candles, moon phase, day of the week, stuff like that. Then i will set about creating a chant, and at the rite time i will meditate to clear my mind, then i will carve the candle with something like (my plans will run smoothly, while thinking of the issue at hand or good luck is needed, you get the idea) and then rub the appropriate herb into the carvings on the candle and light the appropriate oil in a burner and breath it in, and chant a few times, putting alot of strength into it, then meditate on your goal. Blow out the candle and as the smoke from the candle floats of the wick, imagine that is your goal, being free'ed into the universe and on it's way to working. Seems like alot of work but maybe it will inspire your own ideas. But thats usually how i go about my spell workins, for now, until i learn more. Oh and dont forget to cast a circle before you cast your spell, and close it again afterwards.
