BOS consecrations/dedications

I hope this hasn't been asked already. But do any traditions/solitaries actually consecrate their BOSs? I don't know of any. Thanks

I was thinking about it.. I might do something for my dedication ceremony. Not sure yet though.:)

I did for my first one, but I dont' remember the ritual. I don't know of any traditions that do it, but I do know some solitaries that do.

It's really up to you if you want to do it.

I "blessed" (for lack of a better word) mine during my dedication ritual on Imbolc three years ago... It was all very spontaneous as I'm a solitary who has never participated in a group ritual before. I dedicated myself to the God and Goddess, and asked them to help me fill my book with knowledge for my path. I took the water from my altar, (melted Imbolc snow!) and traced a pentacle on the cover of my book. Of course now that book is almost full and I'm debating whether to recopy everything into a larger book or just add another "volume". :lol:
