i am in the uk, i dont think i am up for a meet as i am just starting to learn but wondered if you could help by suggesting good places to buy books ect to get me started

I'm not from the UK, but ummmm... Here *plop* have a comfy chair-couch thingy. I know that there are quite a few people here from all over the UK.

re the idea of a moot/get together, thank you to those from the Uk who have made themelves known, but most of you don't actually say whether or not you are in favour of a meeting.


To merlster, as you say you are new, a meeting would be the ideal opportunity to meet like minded folk and to learn, but otherwise, any good book shop such as Ottakars and also the library. There are also some good websites on here, sorry about the plug for my own, but you are welcome to take a look.

Yes, i'd be up for it. I've got a suggestion of where we could meet...

Avebury, Sunday 23rd September, a rite for the Autumn Equinox.
It's being run by the British Druid Order and more details can be found on their website, www.druidorder.demon.co.uk
Go to the index, and click on 'events' at the bottom of the list.

(hope that was OK Mol, not advertising?)

We're meeting at midday and should be finished about 2pm, so we would have plenty of time before and/or after to meet and say hello. I'm booking the next day off work, don't think i'll want to come home too early.

For those who can't make that, we could find a central point for all those interested. Do we know everyone's location?
