That's good advice. If you hang around, you'll learn from some interesting folks.

I think you should learn more about the Philosophy before you start doing spells but thats just my opinion. You dont have to.

me personaly i dont believe that there is a Philosophy to spells i been casting spells for almost a year now and if u remember the 3 fold law and the wiccan rede u can be safe. besides a spell is nothing but a prayer with additude.

Safe is a matter of opinion :)

IMHO doing spells without having some sort of religious basis is foolhardy at best. The spell might work, it might not. However, do you know how to mundanely fix your problems, and can you take care of yourself spiritually and mentally? Would you try to fix your television or plumbing without some sort of training or experience?

Witchcraft & Paganism are ways of LIFE, RELIGIONS, not a cool way to float pencils or change your eye colour or get everything you want OR turn your ex into a toad.

Besides, spells don't solve everything, or necessarily anything.

P.S. the Threefold Law and the Wiccan Rede ARE philosophy, Wiccan philosophy! :)
