Hi! I am very new to this path, and to this forum. I am encountering something that I need help with. I have a daughter, Adria, who will be 3 Dec 20th. The past couple of weeks she has begun to say that there is something in her closet. She has 3 closets and only says that its in one of them. Normally this wouldn't alarm me, she is young and most kids do that at this age or around it. I know I did. BUT our cat has taken to YOWLING for extended periods of time AT THAT CLOSET. Adria is now so scared that she WILL not go in her room by herself after dark, or even during the day if the door to that closet is open. THERE IS NOTHING physical in that would frighten her or the cat. No extra clutter, nothing smells weird. So, I Am left to assume that there is something beyond the physical that is in that closet torturing my child and my cat. I need it to go away, it is disrupting our lives and none of us are sleeping due to scared child, yowling cat! Can anybody help me?
Thanks so much!
Blessed be

This may sound simple and silly...
Sleep in the room yourself.
It may take more than one night.
If there's anything there you'll know it.
I had a friend that had something in her room, it only seemed to bother her.
When her father happened to wake in the night, he saw whatever it was.
How to be rid of it, I'm sure someone may have ideas.
*I believe*

Thanks! I will do that. I've got to say, that I stopped hanging her clothes in that closet before she ever started to say anything, because I just didn't like getting into it. We keep them ALL in the dresser now. That closet is used only for storing old clothes or out of season ones. I called my mom last night to ask her and she told me that she thinks I need to flush myself of negativity because things are drawn to you when you are stressed/vulnerable. I am thinking about doing a cleansing of myself, that room, and I want to do one on my daughter, but I am afraid of scaring her. Does anyone have any suggestions for cleansing a toddler? Thanks again!

Some things I try with my kids are to help them breathe in deep cleansing breathes. I let them choose a color they love, breathe it in deep while having it fill up their bodies like a glass of milk, then when they breathe out of thier mouths all the "yuckies" go out with it.
You could also let her try holding onto a piece of hematite.
I also made "nightmare Spray" out of water and lavender essentialoil in a spray bottle. My kids would spray a bit under their pillows at night or if a "monster" or nightmare came to them, they could "spray it away."
Definitely cleanse the room and closet. I hope that it goes away.

I cleansed that area, and the entire house while I was at it. I let Adria help me. She shook wind chimes... and UNPROMTED, shook them in her closet and yelled "get out of my closet" I think my little boo has a natural ability just like the rest of the women in my family... mom's side. We made a circle with some incense around the two of us. I told her that it was protective circle and asked the Goddess to protect her. I will see if it did the trick tonight! Thanks so much for your reply!
blessed be!

I'm interested to hear how things worked out.
I'd also like to add that I'm a firm believer that children (and animals) can 'see' things that most older humans cannot. You know how lots of little kids have 'imaginary friends', well I think they're not really imaginary. Kind of like a 'Sixth Sense' (the movie) kind of thing. Only they're not always scary. Of course sometimes they probably do see scary things. And you know how babies and animals always seem to 'talk' to nothing? I think they're really talking to someone whom only they can see. kwim? Ack...I'm rambling.
