Taking a Tarot Course....

Well, not long ago i wrote a post about my S.A.D, anyway, i have been reading tarot for around 4 months now, and i've had many positive feedbacks, but i want to take a course to further my learning (this has also been pointed out in a couple of readings i've had) ... anyway, me & my boyfriend went to a shop called Zen (i love this shop) it sells pagan/wiccan supplies, tarot cards, crystals etc... and my boyfriend asked the tarot reading about the tarot courses and explained to her i have S.A.D and that i would find it awkard to have a tarot course in a group of people, anyway she got talking to me, and she was such a lovely person, she even gave me her number, so i could call her & she'd tell me if there will be alot of people going, she explained it won't be 'in your face' type thing, they have a lit fire & the amotsphere will be very relaxing, also she said the people won't be a**holes, they'll be genuine kind people. Her talking to me, gave me a HUGE boost to pluck up the courage to go to the tarot course, it starts 12th November, and i know i will so regret it if i don't go!
I just needed to tell someone :) i think this will be a great move for me, and they even said in the shop it will boost my confidence also, it will be a 6 week course, and it will really help me tap into my intuitive side. :) I'm just real happy right now, and i really hope i don't change my mind!

I am SOO happy for you! That is truly wonderful--I cannot begin to express the joy I feel for you taking these steps... first the theme park, now the tarot course.. You GO, girl!

Please don't change your mind--I think you will find this to be a *huge* step for you. The fact that you will be doing something that truly interests you will keep you from changing your mind. I can feel it! It sounds like your B/F really cares about you, too... He went out on a limb for you and got you to respond by signing up for the course. I think it's wonderful--FairyGothMommy, you are on your way!

I am so determined, that i won't change my mind about going. This will do me the WORLD of good, i just know it will!
Plus, it is not just the confidence side of things, i will also learn alot more about the tarot.
When i told then i had been reading and had positive feedback, they gave me alot of praise, which sure does feel good! ...

I do feel as though i am making progress, which is great!

They are lovely people, and i have to get it into my head, there not there to cause harm, you know? And, i found it so easy to talk to the woman who teaches the tarot, i'll know i'll be fine with her there :)

There's nothing like going to a class with people that have the same interests. What an exciting learning experience! You are right, you just have to go! And if at any point you feel uncomfortable, you can always take a break and regroup. :D
