My sister is 13 years old and within the last few months her hands and feet started hurting and swelling. Now the skin on her feet has been peeling off and the skin from the bottoms of her feet to her knees and the skin from her hands to her elbows has I guess you could say hardend. She has lost atleast 10 lbs since summer time. She is 5'1'' and she only wieghs 79 lbs. The doctors say they think that she has a really rare skin disease but they aren't positive. They still need to run more tests. Does anyone have any good healing spells to recommend? I would have healed her sooner but I joined the navy this summer and I haven't exactly had the opportunity to cast a circle or any such thing. But I'm coming home on wed. oct. 29th and I am definatley going to do anything in my power to help her. Can anyone tell me if holloween is a good night for healing spells? Any imput would be greatly appreciated.
It really sucks, my baby sister is sick and I am halfway across the counrty worrying my head off.
Thanks for any and all imput.

I would pray to Aesculapius. He has dominion over healing.
Santeros would recommend Babalú-Ayé.
Where Halloween is concerned, I would say ask the spirits of your ancestors to heal and protect her.
Best wishes.

I make my own rituals and spells. If you create your own, then you will be more in touch with the effects. Good Luck! :)

See Rune Charm #2 (Health) in the Practical Rune Magic thread stuck near the top of this forum.

This probably will not cure her completley, but will help. Take a different egg, every night for 9 nights. Charge it with the intent to drain the sickness away and put it underneath her bed. In the morning, take the egg, walk a ways from your house and smash it in a crossroads. In the meantime you can light a candle to whomever deity you think will help and burn some insence as an offering while you visualize her getting better, for 9 days.

You could even purchase some herbs that are good for healing (Scott cunningham has an encyclopedia of magickal herbs or look in the Green Room, there's plenty of links there). Herbal pillows or sachets would be good. If you have the sewing ability or know someone who does, I would take some herbs and make an herbal pillow. Spearmint, Eucalyptus, Camphor, Rosemary are all good for heath and healing .. and there are tons more. Good luck and I hope your sis gets better!

Candles; Yellow is used for healing skin conditions, Orange healing for coughs, colds and asthma, as well as arthritus, exhaustion, Purple for healing allergies, sleep dissorders, and stress related illness, Black for absorbing negativitie Blue, White and Pink
Stones; Amethyst, Blue Lace Agate, Bloodstone red or green, Clear and Rose Quartz, Fluorite, Malachite.
Spells,
Simple Healing Spell
Take prepared ointment (this could be anything she has gotten from the doctor, or get someone to help you make one out of the oils and herbs listed above) and begin rubbing into the affected area in a clockwise motion. As you rub it in say these words, "as i rub deosil, take this flesh and make it well, take the pain and itch away, make it better day by day"
The longer you rub and repeat this spell the quicker the effected area heals.
Healing, good for long distance
3 Candles, Blue, White and Pink
Incence (1 part allspice, 1 part Rosemary)
Paper with the name or the recipient
Quartz crystal
Place candles on alter in a semi circle, with incence of to the side. Place the persons name in the centre, with the quartz crystal on top. Centre yourself and inhale the incence.
Gather energy, and when you feel ready, release the energy, directing it through the crystal to the recipient.
Sunday is a good day to cast a spell for healing, or a full moon, which ever comes first is fine.
Good luck

Maybe a healing poppet could work? I'm sure you can find a general outline somewhere and then change it around and make it original, but use something as just a guideline.
