Ok, first...
Whenever I post, it says 'Neophyte' underneath my name. I've noticed only a few others who have the same lable. What does it mean, and is it possible for me to change that lable?

Next, does anyone endorse magick etc. which includes drug useage? My current (the person I am dating) is interested in this type, and so the question is for him.

Lastly, is there anyone out there who lives in Eureka, California? Soon enough, i will be moving to that area and attending College of the Redwoods. I would find it very helpful if I could meet pagans in that area, especially ones who attend or plan to attend that school. It's not what, it's who you know, right? Ok, so that's not completly true, especially to practicioners of magic, but you understand.

I don't know the answers to anything else, but neophyte is your rank, and to change it you have to post more :)

There's a thread further down on this forum concerning drugs and ritual/magickal/spell practice/usage.

Click above to "profile" and then click "edit profile." You can add a title for yourself and erase the Neophyte label. You can give yourself whatever title you want.

You appear to be one who is up front and "right to the point". This is cool.

Neophyte - is a title for those who are new. Believe me when I say that it matters not. You are a welcome attribute to this community and I am happy to have you amongst us. Worry not about "title" but, what you have to offer and what there is to receive.

Drugs, for the purpose of magick, I do not personally condone. The "need" for external influences of the chemical manifestation, in which to hold commune with the Goddess, are not needed. Nor are they necessary to hold yourself as the conduit of magickal energy. Some groups feel it is needed but, I do not. My thoughts, of course. If you cannot do it without the influence of drugs then, don't do it.

Lastly, Sorry, So. Cal. area. Love it upstate though.

Blessings, and may your path be rich with Love and Light.

Thanx :)

I agree on the drug usage. I won't claim never to have smoked green, but I don't enjoy the effects (don't ask). It's simply a question which occured to me. And, like yourself, I don't need it. Friends have told me, and I quote, "I wish I was as high as you are when you're sober." Now is that a compliment or an insult?

I think i'd take it as a compliment. Means you don't need outside stimuli to make you happy. :D
