MM All,
My family and my friends/neighbors have been having major problems with our neighbors. There has been fighting, yelling, cursing, police have been involved, and the children can't play together, one child urinated on anothers shoes!!! (I even had to have my neighbor arrested after she attacked me in my house!! I have since done many protection spells and it has helped as far as she is concerned). It's such a mess. I have been lighting candles and meditating and putting as much positive energy into the situation that I can possibly muster...to no avail. I am moving within the next month so I try not to let it get to me but thats not always that easy.
Does anyone have any advise?
Also, feel free to add your bad neighbor horror stories.

New Yorkers...I tell ya...there's just no help for them....Of course...I am one of them.... I know how you feel about the bad neighbor situation...I lived in a small 500 person Texas town for about four years, and lived (guess where of all places!!!) in a trailor park. And let me tell you, the whole stereotype of 'trailor trash' is just as true in some cases as is the stereotype of the New Yorker. My fam had some major neighbor problems. Before that we lived in Delaware on an air-force base, where all the housewives had nothing to do all day while their husbunds worked, but gossip...and let me tell you the neighbors knew how to push my mother's buttons...she cried nearly every night for hours. In both cases, Texas and Delaware, the cops were involved. There are the same type of people no matter where you go, but on the other hand, things usually get better in the end. Though you may not like where you are now, in the long run learning how to handle yourself in intense situations such as these is a good asset. Use your experiences to your advantage. Learn from both you mistakes and the mistakes of the people around you. It will make you a better person in the end. I hope you love it where you move....Come join us in Port Jeff (Yonkers is near the island if not on it, right?!) It's great here! Wish you the best of luck and happiness!

i guess i'm the lucky one, i "walk softly" and carry a very big "stick" and the sort of neighbors that might like to make trouble avoid me very carefully, the quiet, respectable folks i get along with just fine. too bad i can't come to visit with you for a few days to bring peace with me.

Hi Mina,
I'm sure a lot of people out there can relate to us...
Yonkers is about 30 minutes from NYC...to close to the hussle and bussle!! The mountains and woods are calling me home!!! My friends think I'll be miserable, but they are SOooo wrong. I can feel the peace just thinking about it. But of course I'll only be about twenty minutes from the local mall (I could not survive without it) Ha Ha He He!!!
Hi Gunner,
Thanks I wish I could get you here!!! I could use some help. By the way how DO you get those troublesome people to avoid you? Care to share your secret?
Blessed Be,
Laiste
