I have a brass (I believe) chinese symbol which you can hang on a wall. However, no matter how much I have searched for an encyclopedia, if you will, of chinese (I'm fairly sure it is chinese anyway) symbols, I've never turned anything up.

I've always wanted to know what it represents, however and if I were able to draw elegantly enough in a paint program, I would draw it.

Does anyone know where I might could discern what it represents? Even if it is only a letter of an alphabet (who knows what it is...) I'd still like to know.

Yeah, Raven, point your webcam at it and press PrintScreen.

My webcam is currently out of commission, so I'll have to come up with something else. A disposable cam or something... :hrmm:

If it's a cut-out or a relief you could trace it.

Or you could make a print of it in hot wax and slip the cast into the cd-drawer, so we can all have our own 3d copy to study

So, have you been able to assert its meaning yet?

If you can send me a pic I have lots of people at work who might know.

I'm still working on it. With changing bedrooms and all I seemed to have misplaced it somewhere along the way. Grr.

Just so you know, Chinese doesn't have an alphabet - every character represents a whole word - so it's not going to be a letter.
Like everyone else, I can't be much more help without a piccie.. :)
