Mol..What i am trying to do is bring some of the eariest Goddess and God forms into a more modern format..Before there were temples and great cities just for the priesthood and the dead..There were nomadic peoples roaming the edges of the nile eking out a life there...These peoples came from many areas..the nubian desert, the sahara, and from the arabic areas..These people's gods and goddess were the precursors to the deities worshipped in later times...Their worship was tied to the land and survival..It was an ecstatic shamenistic path, I believe.. not at all as regimented and stuffy as it was in later times..This is just an outline of the ideas I have but it is a start...BB,LYRA...MA'AT

I have found myself changing directiokns in my Path towards a more "Green" one. In fact, leaning towards an actual Celtic based Tradition...instead of the eclectic one that has been me for almost 4 years.
Maybe this thread could open me to another possiblity. I hear ANKOAT calling me to a different direction...and as always, its mine to find.

Mol,
I bam finding that many in the eclectic community are trying to establish roots in Pantheon based craft..I myself have decided to look or a nore religios based crat in the Egyptian pantheon..I think eclectic craft is great...and it brings a sense of spiritual awakening but it needs more depth thus the change over to religious craft...I think the movement is great..We Alexandrians have always believe a religious based craft would become in vogue once again..EVERYTHING OLD WILL BE NEW AGAIN..MA'AT

i am very interested in this. Of course, I dont have a lot to back me up on this...because my Egyptian studies have been limited.
To tell you the truth I seem to be drawn to a more "Green" path of Witchcraft.
And I dont know why. I have never really been a "natural" kind of guy.
