I had the most perfectest day today!!!

Hope no one minds me sharing, but I had one of those moments I wish I could freeze. I was at the town beach with my two kids. The sun was shining, a breeze blowing in off of the lake. My kids were happily splashing in the water and digging in the sand together. The sky was this amazing blue, with a few puffy white clouds. The trees even seemed greener against the blue. I had this deep feeling of love and peace within me. I knew the Goddess was there with us, enjoying watching her children play too. It took my breath away. :):heartthro

Oh how wonderful!!!! I know how you are feeling right now...I just got the best news I could possibly imagine...my best friend of over 10 years (the one I want you to meet, Wyrd) has just become engaged to her boyfriend of 2 and a half years and not only that, she has asked ME to be the matron-of-honour!!!! I'm just on Cloud 9 at the moment...only one monkey-wrench in the works...It's in THREE MONTHS!!!! aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

Talk about working under pressure!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D Oh I don't care, I'm just so happy. She asked me just an hour and a half ago, in front of all the ppl I work with, crazy woman made me cry!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

Thank you both for this. I have been seeing a lot of negitive energy floating about for a while and evern tried to alter it myself. There have been a number of replies but, it is so easy to loose one's self in negativity.

I agree with everyone else. I love hearing about great days. We should make it a habit to start sharing our good moments with the community. I had a great moment at the park yesterday with Trey. It rained...and he kept saying lets just wait under this tree untill the rain stops. Then sure enough the rain would stop long enough for him to swing a while. The elements were gracing him and the earth. Good day!!!

It sounds like a wonderful day, and the best thing is that the feeling a day like that brings can stay with you long after you've returned to the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life...

I'd like to share a special day I had last week, on Midsummer's Day.

I went to a Druid ritual at a nearby neolithic tomb, set on a mound in the midst of miles and miles of unspoilt countryside and surrounded by the most beautiful trees.

The sun was hot in a clear blue sky, but with a wonderfully cooling breeze. I was with 2 close friends and several new ones, and after the ritual (in which I was initiated as a Bard of the British Druid Order) we finished the mead and bread, we sang and danced and then just lay on the grass sharing the feelings of love and joy that this special day had brought.

Although I have always been happiest when at one with nature
I have rarely felt as close to the spirits, the ancestors and to Mother Earth as I did that day, a day that none of us there will ever forget.

And a very busy week later, all I have to do is sit back and close my eyes, and I'm back in the stone circle listening to the birds singing and the breeze rustling through the trees - bliss!
