Okay stepping away from the Ouiji Board idea, would scrying for answers be a better choice (ie with a crystal) than using an Ouiji Board. I've practiced scrying before, and I seem to have been getting the answers I seek ...

I agree. Stay away from Ouji boards!!!! Other than that it's a matter of affinity.

I think it depends on the person, althought most people consider the oujia board spirits contacting us, and a crystal ball your thoughts, or projects, or something that you personally control, not a 3rd party. (OK, at least that's what I think!!!)
I have done scrying with a black mirror... but never a crystal ball. Although I'd like one. :)
Good luck!! I think if you are seeking answers, scrying would be the way to go.
Blessed Be.

scrying is the way to go , you have the power don't give the power to others don't use the Ouiji board , You can do it yourself.

Yes, I think (I say think) you can contact Astral creature/Spirits through a crystal ball. I've only used mine for contacting someone once before and only saw his face but hey, it was a result, and I haven't got much practice in with my crystal ball.
As for Ouija Boards, I personally would go nowhere near one. I'd say out of all contactings that use some kind of vehicle, a Ouija Board is the most dangerous.

*thinks it's strange that some Christian's give Ouija Boards, for christmas and such as gifts to small children... and alot of Pagan's stay away from them*
very interesting...

Maybe because we see them as more than toys.

Sorry when I said I use a crystal, I didn't mean a crystal ball. I meant I used a stone, on a chain for scrying (actually it's a polished amethyst - which can also be worn as a necklace [because a clasp has been added] that my great grandfather made, sad to say, I would have had all these stones to pick from, if I'd been more interested in stones, years before)
But thanks, maybe one day, when I'm more prepared and understanding of what the consequences are I'll have a crack at using an Ouiji board, but right now, the consequences scare me a little.

That a wise decision, you should not do anything that intimidates you. "In perfect love, and perfect trust" and no fear in your heart.
So do you use your stone for scrying or as a pendulum?

So do you use your stone for scrying or as a pendulum?
Do you mind explaining the difference?
Um, I basically use it for seeking answers to questions that have been bothering me, yes and no type stuff ... why? What exactly can you do with a polished amethyst on a silver chain? lol. I'm curious

I've heard people speak about being able to use a stone of any size for gazing. I've never used stones this way so it's a little fasinating to me. So you use it as a pendulum I figured as much.

So, how do you actually Scry if not the way, I've been doing it?

Scrying is a method whereby you look/gaze into the stone and see images, visions, patterns, etc. Some people go into a meditative or trance like state to do this, while others can just look into the stone and see the images. To me it's similar to reading tea leaves and such, though that may not be the case for everyone.
As was said before, using it as a penduelum requires learning which direction is yes, which is no and asking it yes or no questions.
Hope that helps.

You're already there and you don't quite realize it. People have different ways of receiving information, some are visual, some hear answers, some sense them. Some use various objects in various manners to help them, such as tarot cards, runes, tea leafs, etc. It's whatever suits you and works for you. It looks like you have already found something that suits you and works for you. Even if you buy an expensive pack of tarot cards, if it isn't your way of divining, you won't get good results. Same with expensive crystal balls.

ive actually used a ouiji board it can get pretty scarey. i did it with my sister abused it she was addicted to it so she was careless.
we never touched the glass cos it moved on its own accord. i kept to rituals i was taught my sister didn't and invited some sprits into the cirle that were not good!!! i never done it since but im a channel so i don't need a board to help me. ( dont do the board its not worth it)
