I have always believed (as a Christian and as a pagan) that our bodies die, yes, but our spirit/soul/essence moves on to another life. Reincarnation is a big thing with me, and I'm sure a lot of other pagans/wiccans. I personally feel that life is not complete the first, second or even third time around. There is always something to be taught and to learn in every life...it would take several lifetimes to learn everything there is to know, wouldn't you agree?

I believe that when you in fact have learned all there is to learn, you return to and become a part of the infinite Energy of the Universe...One with Nature, if you will....

But that's just me...any other opinions??

I believe in reincarnation as well. In each life, you learn a lesson - however long the life was (A day, week, years-and-years). Then, I believe there is a period between where you act as an elder. A chance to practice and perfect that lesson. Then, it's back to the learning mill.

I also believe that you always return in human for - at least until you have learned all that there is to learn. Then you become a part of the collective energy known as the Mother or, the Order of Elders.

I believe we pass on to a spirit realm after our physical lives cease. I believe some who pass are able to become "spirit guides" or whatever you choose to call spirits that come into contact with those still living in the physical realm. Some may choose not to become guides but to interact with others who have passed and possibly become one with the universal energy at some point. I have serious doubts about reincarnation for several reasons and I just don't agree with it. Those are just my basic thoughts.

I believe people have lessons to learn in their lifetime. Destiny guides them as far as it pushes them a certain way to learn a lesson, but if they choose to go another way, the lesson will come another time. When the lessons are learned the body dies and the spirit may be reincarnated over and over. In the Summerlands or on earth you might wish to rest between lives until you choose to come back. Once you learn all the lessons you can here you move on to the next plane and that continues until you achieve spiritual perfection and have the choice of uniting with deity or staying here to help others as a spirit guide, or starting all over again.

My beliefs on this change every few years. At this point in my life I believe that there is a "state of mind" or "state of conciousness" to be reached. Once you reach that "state" you become a part of the all energy. You become a part of those energies the I call when calling a "god/dess". I believe that getting to that place may take many lifetimes. I don't think everyone has to go through lessons or trials and tribulations to get there. It's just a frame of mind that you eventually reach through whatever means.

I recently have starting thinking again about that...after dismissing heaven and reincarnation (that was REALLY recent, actually), I've been playing around with the idea that we return to the Earth, which is where we originated. What happens to our energy, I don't know. And I don't pretend to have ANY answers at all, which is probably why I often can't sleep at night. :( But I'm having serious issues with gods and goddesses and past lives and future lives and even a life after death. It just doesn't make sense. But then why are we here...??? *passes out*

to me, destiny is a combination of things. I don't think people die at all, not essentially. The bodies may die. . . eventually the soul may die. but I think there's a higher self that perhaps lives many SOUL lives! That perhaps, if there is an end, it is in such a huge timespan that none of us can potentially grasp it. hehe

Destiny itself. . . I think, perhaps there are destinies that were created b y the gods. Perhaps there are destinies that were created by people themselves, early early on in their soul lives. ESPECIALLY with a special group of people. . . I belive tha teveryone has their own circle of people they keep being reborn with (I have seen this evidenced in many people, including myself and my "group."), and that each circle has it's own special purpose; whether it is drastically changing this universe in the cumilation of godtimes* of effort, or if it's just that they need to be together to fufill eachother. . . I can ony know the reason for my group, and unless someoen else tells me theirs, I cannot know that. ^^; 'sides, it's none of my business! hehe

Destiny serves it's own purposes, but it's up to you to determine just what those purposes are. That's my take on it. In an extremely cramped tiny little nutshell hehe

* by godtimes I mean lengths of time so vast that it prolly isn't really measurable.

I don't believe in reincarnation or an afterlife.

As for destiny, I don't believe that there's any sort of higher plan.. the choices you make and the choices others make affect your life.
