Okay, I've been thinking for a while now, that I might change my public pagan name (RubyRose) to something different ... I have a private name, that I love, and most likely, will stay the same from here to eternity ... I know the subject of pagan names, comes up a lot, and I'm sorry, for a slight repeatition ...

um, another question, I realise you can have as many names, as you want (within reason!) but would it be so bad as to have two public names ... ? <shrugs> I'm just finding that RubyRose, may not be fitting me as well as it used too ...

I would advise against two public names. Pick the one you love the most and stick with it. Why? Because you may wind up confusing people in the long run, which could alienate them. Who knows, you may also wind up doing something some day and be given credit for it, but who will they give it to if you have two names? It can create problems.

I believe Mol once said that you can only have one username. I think he said that he'd delete any old ones ... since I'd have 3 now. 8O

Not sure what the first question was.... :)

But as to the second question, there's nothing wrong with having other public names. A public name is not necessarily the same thing as your Craft name. NeferSesemet is my name for myself when communing with the Divine, but I've had a zillion other names that were all public names, too. It's just best to stick with one name at each of the various boards you frequent. (So if you change your name from RubyRose to Lady of The Lake or something, stick with the changed name for posting purposes.)

Loki, yep he did. So if she picks a new name, she has to announce it, and then tell Mol or Semele so they can incapacitate the old name.

Ack! I didn't mean that I'd post on here with more than one ... <shrugs> I like RubyRose enough ... ah ... I dunno, think I'll hang on to it for now, I had enough trouble coming up with a private name for myself ...
