sending energy = getting weak

Ok I’m not sure. I’m thinking this should go under New pagans? But this is more of an opinion thing. I don’t know.

Ok so lately when I’m wandering around in the Energy Request forum I find I can’t send energy to more than 1 or 2 if I try for more than that I start feeling weak and I’m unable to concentrate.

Anyone else?

Yup! Yup! That would be me. Thats why I'm waiting on the full moon. I figure that would be a great time to get the hookup and send energy, plus recharge yourself.

Personally for me this is something that I have never understood. When I give energy i am not giving my own energy away, but rather using my body as a conduit to send universal energy that is right there for us to all grab and use. I find that when I give energy, the mere process of it strengthens me. The hardest part is learning how to tap into that universal energy and give that rather than your own.

I suppose there are times when I am physically too tired or ill to focus long enough to recieve and direct the energy, but usually if I can get myself together long enough to do so, I reap the rewards as well.

Maybe I am alone in this idea, but it works for me pretty well. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you.

Well that’s how it usually is for me. I can feel the energy literally flowing through me. That’s why in the past I’ve been able to send energy to so many in a day

I think lately I’ve been focusing wrong and sending out my own. Because both yesterday I couldn’t send to more than two I think and today after the first one I was drained and disoriented.

Wouldn't know I am a Battery. A never ending supply of energy. I have been tapped into
by Kaylara and also Lucidia a few times and they were the ones who filled me in on being
a battery. No matter how much energy i send out there is allways more there.

Don't understand it myself yet nut it is deffinetly true.

Closest thing to getting tired from send out energy I have ever been is I yawn afterwords
for a a minute then I stop. This usually happens when I think of sending energy to a lot of people. Example I will think of everyone On MW or even in the world. No joke and afterwords
yawn for a min or 3.

That's how I do it.....I feel tired from the sending for a little while......but I perk right back up. But I don't send it when I'm sick...I feel like my Negative energy could seep over, and plus, even then, the sending of it wears me down .......

Just ground yourself really well first, and be sure to visualize yourself as the conduit rather than the source of the energy that you're sending.

To ground, I do a "tree of life" meditation that one of my teachers taught me, where I picture myself having roots that extend down through the earth, down, through the substrata and bedrock, all the way to the core of the Mother. Then you can pull energy up from there through yourself and direct it where you want it to go.

Also every time I breathe in while I'm doing this, I picture the energy of the world around me being pulled in. As I breathe out, I picture that energy flowing out to wherever I'm sending it.

When I'm done, I'll take some time to check my energy levels and direct any excess energy still residing in my body back into the Earth, being sure to leave that core of energy that is my own personal supply intact and recharged.

If I'm careful about it, I feel better afterwards than I did when I started. There have been situations where I needed to direct energy really quickly without grounding & centering first, and in those situations I did deplete myself pretty severely. I was able to go back afterwards, after the emergency had passed, and recharge myself, so it wasn't a permanent thing.

I agree with Semele, I'm just a conduit for the energy I'm sending, it energizes me as well as the person I'm giving it to. Thats why I can't do it right before bed at night, I'd never get to sleep !!

Exactly. Once upon a time I lived in a house rather than a dorm and was able to go outside. I was always able to picture the energy coming off the earth and entering me as I prepared to send it. I miss that. I have only been able to give my own energy away for the past few months due to the lack of any real land around where I live. It is frustrating.

I am with Semele here, I use my energies to manipulate the energies around the person needing the energy and enhance and bless with healing light. I try to keep my own personal enery in tact. Never deplete yourself or you can get sick. I do on very special healing needs utilise my own personal force becasue it is necessary for me to affect what I am trying to achive.

I dont really feel like I'm using my energy, I just feel like my body gets tired and burnout from being a portal for the higher energy...If that makes sense. I figure it's because I got so much flowing through that there is a point where you have to stop and take a break. LOL!
