I have a simple altar, just use it for burning incense/prayers/meditation (which I need to do more of, been getting side-tracked lately)
It's just set-up to which I'm comfortable, doesn't conform to any standard :p
but, anways, lately I've been thinking about the God and Goddess, and haven't set forth to giving a name to either of them (which, doesn't really matter, as I haven't been trying :p)
but, I have been drawn to using Isis (it's such a pretty name isn't it? :) )
and, just now, as I was lighting an incense, I looked at how my altar was setup, and the stuff lying on it, makes a pyramid shape :eek:
wonder, if that's a sign or not? :p
EDIT:
here's a visual aid (my web cam doesnt reach that far)
# - Red Candle (for fire)
===== - Incense Burner
* * - Goddess and God candles (respectively)
O - Bowls (one for water, and one for Salt)
X - Offering Plate
