So, you say you're wiccan, pagan, neopagan(what is that?)....how did you come to be who/what you are?? My interest with all this started when I was in my late teens by my grandma...she started talking about astrology, tarot, crystals and the like...later in life I moved to the rocky mountains of Colorado...10,000 feet in the mountains where I met a wonderful woman who goes by the name of Willow...with her and two others we formed a small coven...the first and only one I have ever been in...I visited a small book shop and found a great deck of cards known as Thoth tarot...they just seemed to call to me...so I took them home...after studying them for a while they seemed very familiar to me...later that nite I was looking through an old box of books and realized why the cards looked so familiar...one of the books was the book that went with my Thoth deck...my grandma gave it to me about 5 years earlier...anyway...how did you get to your present path and what other things do you enjoy??? for me it is astrology, numerology, tarot,Native American teachings, and runes...cya glenda

hello there, nice to see you're up and posting, i was starting to worry about ya! :) how was the op?

heh, been wondering about neopagan myself. maybe it's just a term for paganism as it is practised today? i dunno.

as for my path, i take alot of what i need to know from fairy tales (not, i may add, the disney versions though.) and folklore, apart from the more obvious sources of info. also, the philosifers of ancient greece intrigue me, especially plato.

People’s paths are so interesting! I’m looking forward to the responses this thread gets. For me, I’ve written it all out, how I went from Catholic, to Humanist, to my current Pagan Humanism. :elf:

Basically after I left Christianity I put together different thoughts about what I considered spiritual, (such as my feelings of awe and wonder at the natural world, the passage of time, adn the love of family and friends) and then realized it hung together nicely. The entire story (about 20 pages single spaced if printed out) is here:

However, you may want to just skip to chapter 8 to get an overview of my beliefs now, if you don’t want to do a bunch of reading.

My interest started as a young child, although I was raised in a christian household.

I started seriously studying wicca/witchcraft at the age of 12 (believe me... it is possible !!) and have been going strong ever since. I started doing research because xtianity never felt right, and just so many things. Too many to list here in the amount of time I have right now.

Blessings,
