Awww, ain't you the sweetest, Raevyn! :) :)

I've personally met two: Raevyn for sure! and a guy named Scott. I met Scott years ago on a BBS (pre-WWW!) in a city I previously lived in. But I think that's it! Most of my online friends are ones I already made friends with in person.

So Rae, you're special!! :D But that's obvious anyway. :)

See you for ice cream!!

HEHEHE You got it, Pontiac!! *thumbs up* by the way, you DO know I'm bringing the rugrats with me, eh? The boys haven't stopped talking about you since last weekend! They think you're just the bees-knees (and I'm not that far behind, either!! ;)) See you in a couple of hours!!!

You can either click on the "smiles" link at the bottom of the page when you are posting a reply... or go to your member profile page ]Edit Options[ and click the "Use vBCode quick links on your message input screens?" to YES.

I hope this helps...

Hi I have made a number of good friend via email or as penpals.
Some I have met up with others I just write to. There is a very good site called Pagan Profiles (not got the web address at hand) that allows you post a profile and lets people know you are open to making new friends. I have a few penpals via the site and recently was contacted by a local group that started up in the area and have met up with them. In fact I attended a Solistice ritual at the coast with them. So there are gueniue people out there on the net ready to make friends and some of us are in the UK!!

I "met" a bunch of wonderful ladies when I was pg with my daughter, over three years ago. Thirteen of us have stayed together over these years, first posting on a baby playgroup board and then as a private email group. I have met several of them IRL and it was like we lived next door all our lives. There are many people here I would love to meet eventually too. :D

My last ex-boyrfriend I met from the net. He PMed me in a chat room, bugged the heck out of me, and I finally agreed to let him treat me to a burger at the college that we both attend. He seemed pretty cool and we struck it off as friends. We dated for a while, broke up, I'm having his kid, and I haven't seen or heard from him for a while.

On the other hand, I'm VERY happy with my life at the moment and I wouldn't ask God to change a thing that happened. :D Any regrets that start to kick around in my head dissapear the moment my baby starts one of his excercise routines in my stomach! :p

Well Cat_Kitty It will come back to him. You have my blessings. IF I lived by you, I know I would be by and help with whatever you would need. I tell all my friends this. That guy was mean to do this. I hope that he will learn his lesson. Love ya lots bud:)

Whether or not "it will come back to him" or learns his lesson is not my concern. I can only pray that he has God's guidance and love through life. He's not mean, just immature and that is a forgivable trait. May God grant him a healthy life...far away from mine. :p

I met 2 new chat friends who live quite near to me, very pleasant evening, but turned out they think pagans a "bit wierd really" haha. We still chat sometimes though.

Would be lovely to meet people from here, got loads more in common, except that we live so far apart!!!!

Anyway, message for all Brits, or others on holiday here at the right times-

Anyone go to rituals at any of the big sites? Perhaps we could arrange to meet there. Next one I'm going to is Avebury, 23 September, midday (foot & mouth permitting, last i heard area still restricted).

Blessings

I've met a few people I met online over the years. I even married one. I don't talk to them anymore, though. :( Not even the one I married. (THANK THE GODS!!!) But there are a some now that I'm interested in meeting. ;) Though, none live close to me. :(

Oh well, maybe someday. :)

someday i hope to meet a few people from online. I did happen to meet one guy i'd know for years and never realized he only lived a few minutes away in NYC (i live right across from NYC in jersey), and we have a LOT of mutual friends.. it's kinda proving that "small world" theory.

I have friends all over the place that i'd love to meet, but it's hard to travel with a full time job, plus no that much money and i'll be in school soon too... but that's life, and if i'm meant to meet them, then someday i will.

I have to say that in my case the first person I met was not necessarly a positive experience. The rest have been great.

there are a few i'd like to meet in person (well, a lot of you really) and some of our people here don't live all that far from me but i'd hate to seem "pushy" and i would no way turn up on anyones doorstep uninvited just on the strength of an online friendship.

No, I haven't physically met anyone I have ever known or know on-line.
Most of them are in the UK and I'm in the states. (Love me UK mates).

Who knows, maybe someday I'll meet up. I've been invited to the UK, but I don't have the where-with-all to go.

I've met two online friends, both were internet relationships that we wanted to see if there was more than just text between us. One didn't work out due to long distance and the other I married.

Would love to meet some more people, but as I'm not on at night much (eastern time here) most of my online friends are over in the UK. And I'm a bit shy in realy life (even though it might not seem so online) so that makes it hard too.

Ok, I'm really an idiot. I voted no, but would like to. Actually, meeting people online is how I got involved with my little pagan group here in C. Florida. Now we meet at least once a month.

I've met a couple a few years ago, but I did not meet them in this forum.

It was disappointing, so I doubt I'll go out of my way again to meet someone.
