this is something i've been pondering for quite a while.

most of us know, or believe, i should say, that there are spirits and such. when some of us die, we are reborn later in time. when some of us die, our spirits stay on earth. and also, when some of us die, we may even go to different planes, different universes, different dimensions (for lack of better words).

well i have a question. for those of us who DO stay here on the earth after we die, what happens to us when the earth is destroyed?

are we destroyed as well? are we moved to a different place? or do we just kinda float out in space?

The souls would find the nearest inhabitable planet possible and reincarnate there. Distance is no factor.

Hmmm interesting question...quite frankly I have never really thought about it. However I will throw out a guess as long as I can post again (and possibly retract any previous statements) after I really get a chance to think on this one! :)

I bet we get an eviction notice...along the lines of "Hey, you down there! You got like 10 minutes before the earth is gone. The bus leaves in 5 minutes be on board if you wanna go to (insert alternate dimension here) "

Well ok, maybe not just like that...
seriously, give me a bit to ponder and I'll see if I can come up with something better

Well, this is just the way I see it, but anyway:

Time is circular (kind of like in Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series). What is happening now has happened before and will, in all likelyhood, happen again. The universe (all of known space and beyond) was created by the big bang, history plays out. Then, sometime in the far future, after history has played itself out, a judgement day, similar to that mentioned in the bible where the earth and universe are destroyed, occurrs. When this happens all the spirits that have ever lived are summoned back to earth. Some are destroyed (divinity has the power to destroy matter, even in its most basic form), and those that remain are reabsorbed into the collective unconscious (or however you want to think of it), to wait for the universe to be recreated so they can incarnate onto the physical plane again.

A little like the matrix in a sense.

:D Okay what the hey, I'll give it a go....

Why would it matter to a spirit if Malkuth is gone? Th Earth bound plane is only one plane and as far as that goes I don't know that I think spirits hang "around" Malkuth so much as they exist along side us but on a separate level ( and separate plane).

Since we are riding this wave -- planes exist within and without at the same time, it's not like you would have nowhere else to go. So the souls that were here would simply move on....

Glad you came with me on that. :D

i believe that when we die our soul is thrust forward into the wheel of life
you are alive to learn in every life time you are meant learn. if you die without learning anything you do not move upwards spritualy and stay on the same plane for many lifetimes
depend on what you here to learn as to where you need to learn it lesson come whether or not your ready if you pass or fail no-one knows because it was a choice
rebirth relive explore
