The DOD quietly starts to fill draft boards once again: (http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1077906,00.html) While conscription hasn't begun, one does wonder. I didn't even know this website (http://www.defendamerica.mil/) existed, but here (http://www.defendamerica.mil/articles/sss092203.html) is the low-key announcement that has so far escaped much media attention at all.
