Family Signs

Anyone else got an interesting configuration in their families? Almost all of mine fits into a Cardinal Grand Cross! :lol:
Mom, Dad, Uncle, Paternal Grandma - Cancers; Both maternal grandparents and my aunt - Capricorns; Me, my 21 yr. old brother, and my male cousin - Aries; my 4 yr. old baby brother - Libra... the only two that don't "fit in" are my female cousin, Scorpio, and my Paternal Grandfather, Pisces. I also share a Virgo moon with my motherby close degree, and both our moons are conjunct /her/ mother's Asc in Virgo. Me and my mom also share Venus in Taurus though not conjunct. My Libra brother's Sun is the exact opposite degree of my Aries Sun... and his Venus is in Virgo near me and my mom's moons, and Nana's ascendant. It's surprising how my paternal side of the family fits the pattern so well when it's technically my step family (my brothers are both my stepdad's; my real dad, a Virgo, dropped off the face of the earth when I turned 11.) My mom's dad is alos her stepdad...I don't know when her real dad's birthday was; he died when she was a baby. I just think it's really interestng to see all the astrological connections between people. :)

I am a Taurus, my mom is a Scorpio, my Dad is an Aquarius and my brother is a Leo. We are all fixed signs.

I'm the only air sign in my family( that I know of) Everyone on my moms side is a fire or earth sign and my dad is water or earth. My grandma was agemini but she died before I was born

My dad was another Aquarius, his bday four days before mine. My mother is a Pisces. My patneral Granmother was a Libra. My sister is Virgo, and her daughter is also a Libra as well as the man my sister married. I married a Scorpio and our incoming daughter is said to be a Capricorn, but we'll see about that. Heh. I figure she'll get here when she's good and ready. :)

I have noticed that I have a lot of scorpios around me. That is strange because I am a leo. My boyfriend of three years, my best friend of ten years, and my mother are scorpios. I get along with them very well, but I think a lot of that is because I often take the peacekeeper road. Afterall someone has to!

I have a big family, my ma's 7 brothers and sisters and my pa's got 9 brothers and sisters, I should find out their signs! Myself I've got a sister, she's aries my dad likewise. My mother and I are capricorns

About families, we all have certain traits from our families don't we? In this thread is we talk about if family fits astrology wise. But now I was thinking, am I born on a certain day, hence under a certain constellation, because of my family?

Not quite sure exactly what you mean, but there is a theory that you choose your own chart before birth and before everyone reincarnates, people in your "soul group" will decide what their relationship is going to be with you and what they hope to learn from you, etc. Like for example you could say that with 2 Aries kids my mom was trying to teach herself patience! :lol: Or how to be more brave... As a kid my mom was the classic weepy Cancer woman and you pretty much kept out of her way during her PMS time! But gradually she's turned into a woman that doesn't sweat the small stuff and she stands up for herself more than just crying about things. :) But the same token I could say that my soul wanted to learn how to be more sensitive from her.

my immediate family aint so remarkable though i think me and my lil bro pig and rabbit respectively in the chinese style are here to teach my parents to be more malleable. my dad is a taurus, and my momma is an aquarius. prior to marryin my dad my mom had twins with another guy(dont know his sun) and her twins are also rabbits but they are leos. when she got together with my dad she had me and mark and we are both pisceans. she once told me that when she was a teenager and looked into astrology stuff she wished that she was a pisces so maybe that has somethin to do with it..

in my mom's immediate family its rather interesting. my grandmother (the oldest living one in the family) is a capricorn born in early january. my grandfather is aquarian and to me my grandparents (im writing this from their house) are the quintessential cap and aquarian. they had 3 kids, the first is uncle bob who is a cappy/aquarian cusp and hes the coolest. the second was aunt terry she is a aquarius/pisces cusp and she is a lot like me in many ways. and then theres me mommy, shes an aquarius. now they have all had kids and my cousins from my uncle are oldest/cap and youngest/aquarius. then my mom had me pisces, and then (this is the kooky part) my mom and my aunt had twin cousins, born same day, 8 hours apart both pisces. my bro is a pisces with leo moon and my cousin colleen is a pisces with virgo moon. oh and both me and mark are pisces with leo moon and aries rising and mercury in aquarius =D we have a really cool relationship

ya so then there is my dad who is the hardest worker ive ever known hes a taurus. he has been through all kinds of hell in this life and he is still totally devoted to taking care of his family. he lost his first son before i was ever born and basically took down a whole house with his fists over that (hes a dragon in chinese astrology), and then both his parents died of a bad combination of diabetes and lung cancer. ya but anyway, despite all that hes the best dad ever, and to me the quintessential taurus (hes kinda round hehe).

so i dont know what to make of my family we are very very aquarian it seems (excluding my older twin leo brothers)

i figure that me and mark bein pisces have been a great influence on my parents whether they would ever admit it or not (which of course they wouldnt)

I'd say you've got a lot of fixed energy in your family... Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius (Scorpio too) are all fixed signs, which can mean a lot of stubbornness and people wanting to have their own way. But it seems to me the Pisces energy has balanced you out a lot. The way you talk about your family you seem to have a very happy group. :) Couldn't quite tell from your post, but are you and your brother Mark twins too? Twins are great fun in astrology, because you can find differents in their charts to explain why they don't act exactly the same even if they were born only a couple minutes apart. :) There definitely seem to be a good many twins in your family...almost surprised that none are Gemini's! :lol:

yes! lots of fixed energy hehe but me and mark are trying to balance things! if you wanna mention scorpio in my family too, my girl is a scorpio =D i miss her i dunno where she is

mark is 4 years younger than me and me being a piggy in the chinese astrology it makes him a rabbit which are traditionally very good at gettin along (its the chinese equivalent of scorpio (pig) and pisces (rabbit))

now mark and colleen are TWINS of a sort but they are twin cousins born on the same day 8 hours apart!
