Chryssi:
Six of Swords: A gateway card, to me this says you are embarking on a new journey either spiritualy or physically. Your boat is loaded down with swords, or your past trials and tribulations, yet the boat is still afloat. This says to me that you have mourned greatly over these "swords" in your life, but you are now stronger because of it. Just stay on the positive side and remember the lessons you have learned and your new journey will be a pleasant one. Of course this card could also symbolize something as basic as a trip over an ocean or sea. Either way good luck to you friend!!

Dria El:
The Chariot: First major drawn!!! Well this is a card that to me represents a win-lose situation...but don't worry you are or will be the winner. It is a card of strong control where you consciously gain control over the situation, unlike the strength card which is soft control or a win-win situation. While you are/will be victorious just bear in mind that this control can be lost in the blink of an eye. Strive for a balance in which both parties can win. This is easier said than done, but it is worth the effort.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hestia:
The Hanged Man: I will have to give you a more textbook based description of this card because I am not getting a strong vibe with this one. Perhaps because I don't know you well, but I will try to make sense of it for you none the less. THis card basically represents to me a peace of mind that you can only get by giving in and leting go. This may already be the case with you or it may be advice you need to hear. Only you know the answer to that. It is about the reversal of attitude that comes from spiritual awakening. Sacrifice and gaining control from that sacrifice. I hope this makes some sense to you. Let me know.

I had recently come to a fork on the road on my Path. I figured out exactly which way I need to be going and am really excited to be taking this next step of my journey. The swords... hmmm... I do have a tendency to hang onto the crud from my past and maybe that is holding me back spiritually. That all makes sense. Or maybe my hubby is surprising me with a romantic cruise to the Carribean??? :D:D:D

Thanks hon! That was great. Now I wish I could get the courage up to reading for someone else.

Chris

You have the courage...just use it. Put it to work for you. Just draw a card for me and tell me what it tells you.

I know you can do it!

Okieee, here goes, Using Universal Waite, I drew the 9 of Wands. I am getting the feeling that you have come a long way in something. You have much to show for it, but know that you still have more to do. This is you taking a bit of a break before you move on, gathering your strength and motivation.

Just so you know, I am not using the book on this~ going straight with what I "see." So i could be 100% off base! LOL! Let me know!

Chris~ hey, that was fun!

Chriss1,
Just to let you know you were right on the money. I have been contemplating going back to school. I recently made the decision that I am just not ready to do that yet. It was a long, hard, rewarding battle the first time and it did put quite the strain on my family. It was well worth it and I am not in the least regretful, just evaluating now whether it is worth it to go through it again. just weighing the pros and cons.

See, it is easier than you thought huh?!?! I find one card readings especially satisfying most of the time. You just have to focus on one card and not the positions etc. However at times it can be frustrating because you feel you have to draw more cards to get a more clear picture. Thanks for doing that for me!!
