hey, can you guys give me your opinions on this, ever since I started getting into wicca, about 2 days ago, I've been feeling really dizzy, is this some kind of awareness thing or is there something wrong with me? or is it just a coincidence? please help. Should I see a doctor?

I thought last night that maybe it was cause I was tired, but I got about 11 hours of sleep last night, so it can't be that, I woke up dizzy and it hits me about every 2-5 minutes for a few seconds, then disappears.. I'm confused and a bit scared about it..

Probably just a coincidence. Right now you are most likely in gathering stage...hunting for information...learning at every step. Although, if you are not sleeping that could be causing some dizziness.
Advice: Get some sleep. Your Path is not going anywhere...you can study more the next day. ;)

I'll remember that, I guess I haven't been sleeping very well lately, I'm just really excited about the new Path I'm taking, and about meeting all you guys, I definately needed a change in my life. I had two bagels earlier already, could it be because I might be dehydrated? all I've really been drinking this past month is soda...

Just calm down...drink some more water...make sure to eat enough...get some sleep...and spend the rest of your time here with us. You'll learn. ;)

...if it continues, it can't hurt yo see a doctor. Tell the Dr. everything including your new path and educational process. Everything.
Also, seek balance in all that you do. If you are eating correctly, balance can be achieved and need for suplimental vitamins should become nill - if you are taking them.
Meditation should enhance your calm as well.
Like I said though, a Dr. visit can't hurt.

Hi Faolan,
When I'm overly tired & didn't get enough sleep & then try to catch up by sleeping a long time, I get dizzy & lightheaded too. Your body is tired. Sleeping 11 hours is not going to help. You need regular rest. Also, soda has a lot of caffine in them. And they dehydrate you, rather than hydrate. As Mol suggested...drink more water...or fruit juice...preferably something with real fruit juice & not a fruit punch. Eat regularly & healthy & get some proper rest. This is a MOM talking here....
If this dizziness keeps up, you should go see a dr. Don't mess around with your health.

all your suggestions have been helping so far, I've had a few big glasses of whatever, and I layed down and slept for a little bit, I think part of it is I stand up, and suddenly I'm not looking up closed at a computer, or reading something *smacks self for not bringing her glasses* oh well. but thanks, and if it does get worse I'll see a doctor I promise.

i'd agree with mol, rantnraven and wildchild here faolan, part of what you describe sounds like low blood sugar and lack of proper rest and possibly dehydration, soda pop and "fruit punches" won't help, you want to get back on a regular sleep pattern, drink plenty of real juices and water and eat substantial meals. we're not going to vanish if you take a break to properly take care of your body and we'll be better able to enjoy your company if you're feeling well, (you could keep a glass of orange juice by the computer, just don't spill it on the keyboard) get your rest and nourishment, have that talk with your doctor and we'll look forward to seeing you again.

that would look really bad if I spilled orange juice on the keyboard wouldn't it? *shudders at the thought of people seeing it, and making asumptions* ewww gonna have nightmares now! *never touching orange juice again* heh, j/k
