The 4th of every month of the Attican calendar was dedicated to Festivals in honor of Aphrodite.

I honor Aphrodite and have found many days to be special to Her. In fact, I consider any time that I celebrate with love and joy as a special time of honoring Aphrodite. But there are certain days that are especially appropriate. As already mentioned Fridays are especially associated with the Goddess of Love, and Aphrodite was worshipped on the fourth day of every month in the ancient Greek calendar. April is Aphrodite's month, and of the modern Pagan Sabbats, Beltane is definitely a holiday that celebrates Her energy. She can also be honored on Valentine's day--again the energy is especially appropriate--but it is not actually associated with Aphrodite except to those of us who always associate love and all it's special days with the Goddess of Love and Aphrodite in particular.

Other days that are especially appropriate are February 6th--another ancient festival day. Both Aphrodite and Her lover, Adonis, were worshipped on March 9th and July 12th. On July 21st the Aphrodisia was celebrated. This festival included a bathing ritual--Aphrodite was said to bathe in the sea at a sacred spot and renew Her virginity each year. These dates are probably all approximate because of the calendar changes since ancient times.

Not sure if other people do this or not, but I tend to honor Aphrodite, Eros & Psyche on Valentine's Day. :)

Thanks you guys. I've learned a lot from you. I know that the ancients wouldn't honor her on this day, but I think that you could honor her on Beltane.
