The Master Bard once said,"If you would speak to a man, you must light the fires of his imagination with your words." It is my task as a Bard to do precisely that. It is not our business to ask why men are blind, it is our business to give light to their eyes. Prehaps if you would consider my words then your question would answer itself

Skepticism is part of life. There are always those who do not believe until they are shown. Dont try to force it on them, and dont get frustrated if they dont see. Everyone must open there eyes eventually, be it in this life or the next. Live in peace, answer when asked, and youll find many people to be more open minded than youd think, and some people unexpectedly closed off. *shrug* Humans are strange creatures.

A japanese poet said "When you meet a man who is not a swordsman, do not show him your sword."

A warrior cannot hide who he is any more than a tiger can hide his stripes. But Both the warriors sword and the tigers stripes serve a useful purpose in telling the world that he is there. In that none may be taken unawares. The warrior who hides his sword is not, cannot, and will not be trusted .

Not all beliefs will ever coincide. But if everyone believed the same thing, then the world would not be as interesting a place, and the part of life known as learning would be hard to come across. When someone does not understand, do not scorn them. That will only push them away. Instead, inform them, if they reject what you say, atleast you tried. It is then thier own fault for not being open-minded. I see that virtue of open-mindedness as very important if one wishes to learn anything or grow. I am not saying believe everything you hear, that is called being naieve and it is foolish. Instead consider and think about all the viewpoints that you are presented with. You will find that alot of times, they coincide with your own beliefs and that there is atleast some truth in them.

Belief has nothing to do with truth. Belief is what we want to be. Truth is what is. WE can argue and disagree about beliefs but the TRUTH is beyond the rational for any of our arguments. It simply IS regardless of what we might like to think.
As well, our spiritual truth must be congruent with our biological truth, otherwise we have no truth. That was once plainly understood amongst
all the peoples but along came Roman Christianity and all of the super spook notions of the church. The notion that you can heal the body with out touching the soul and a lot of other spurious Cartesian notions comes directly from the perversions espoused be Augustine (whom the Church has the audacity to call "SAINT")
Once it was plainly understood that the body was an expression of the soul. And that while the body might die, the soul lived on through many lives of the body.
Our modern world gives little more than lip service to the spiritual truths of our ancestors. Shrines and Holy sights are looked upon as merely tourist attractions, a means of money making for all and sundry. Indeed, it often seems that people put more faith in Smith and Wesson than they do in any sacred text or teaching.
Again, at their bases, All of the ancient sacred texts are saying the same things because they are all dealing with the same things. The matter of our being HUMAN and the problems we face in living.
Druidism allows one to find the commonality in all the differing perceptions and identifies the truth that is common to all peoples
