Don't know where this should go, but I have some questions. I've been seeing things that I've been trying to convice myself as my imagination.
Usually I'm seeing things out of the corner of my eyes, and most often it's things like black clouds or something. Shadows, thats what it reminds me of. If I blink or turn to a different angle its gone. Sometimes(usually at night) I'll be coming back into my room from the kitchen and I'll see a dark black shadowy figure at the end of the hall where it starts to turn. Those times it's like a full figure, I'd say like a 6'-6'4 man or something, and when I see things out of the corner of my eyes I think its kind of small, like the size of a faery I'd imagine.
Anyways, I think I didn't start seeing all these things until one night a couple of months ago when I saw a little girl. I was out in the garage-theres big windows all along where the door is supposed to open- and when I turned around to go back into the house I saw the reflection of a little girls face right next to mine. The girl looked kind of like she was in the 50's or 60's.
Could anyone help me explain this other than I'm imagining things and I'm paranoid?
Thanks,
Blue

Trippy. I think I've seen some shadows and a few mysterious faint lights and a few auras. Well, this seems to be ghosts of the previous occupants of the house? Spooky.

I see them to... but they aren't always dark. I've even seen more detail than just shape.

They're spirits... at least that's my oppinion. They may be former humans, or other things... depends.

We used to see ghosts in the house all the time when we were little(me and my sister) but we haven't seen any of them in a very long time. There were always the same 3 ghosts, 2 guys, one who wore a tophat, and a lady. But I really don't think thats it. I mean I think the girls face was a ghost because theres not really any other explination for that, but I don't think anyone lived in this house before us. My dad has been living here for 22 and a half years..but I suppose the shadows could be ghosts..

I didnt think about this but...I thought that ghosts either stayed with a place(haunting the place they died) or stayed with a person(following a person wherever they go)
When I think about it, if anyone did live in this house before us I know that no one has died in here...I usually get a strange feeling, like I know when someone died in a place that I'm at, but I've never had that feeling here.

Definetly a spirit. If i see them, the way you described is how I see them too. Shadows, sometimes in the corner of the eye , sometimes, just there.Maybe these spirits just have a strong attachment to the house, or ground it was built on.

They're usually attached to people or places, from my understanding and experience. But that isn't always the case. Fay may for somepeople appear like that, and they aren't necessarially attached to either. For spirits, it can also happen that they are attached to a place of significance to them.. a place that they were always happy... a place of abuse. Even if they didn't get killed there. These are sometimes referred to as 'memories' of these people... kinda like a mystical video that replays.

I know what your talking about, shadow figures sometimes I see the small ones are watching me but in a good way guiding me the full figures I don't like and I get the feeling they feel the same about me but I also get the feeling they don't want to mess with me just un-nerve me, if you know what I mean like coming into the bedroom at night, they know I don't like that but they do it just to un-nerve me. But the little ones their interesting, I'm not sure what their all doing but you can get a feel for the good and the bad, you'll get a chill or goose bumps.

Hi there,

Look up "Shadow People" on Google, you may be surprised by the results. More and more people are seeing these 'spirits' that a real phenomena is being created.

What was on that space before your house? Top hats are mostly Victorian era, aren't they? Perhaps Edwardian too? That would mean mid-eighteen hundreds to early nineteen hundreds. Are you in Nevada? Do the descriptions correspond to anyone in your family? My feeling is that they came with the place but I don't know. The County historical society might have some clues.

Oh that's really odd. This has happened to me once. sitting in a car at an intersection and all of a sudden a shadow leaped over the car. Scared the living crap out of me, but it was only for a second and no one else noticed. I thought I was just crazy.

You have no idea how many times I've seen shaddow cats. They seem to like me, and out of the corner of my eye, look like actual cats.....

I get this all the time, sometimes in very surpizing places (an office meeting for example!). The fey appear to me as flicks and streaks of energy barely visible, but like a fluttering, and they appear more often during the day; the ones near me love sunny days when there is a fresh blanket of snow on the ground.

The spirits appear in much the same way, but more out of the corners of my eye, more like fuzzy clouds, more at night and more often in my basement. ;). When the activity got bustling one night, I saw the cloud in the corner of my eye, but this time, there was color. I glanced over and there was an older white-haired man standing in my hallway wearing kaki-colored pants and a plaid shird. He quickly was gone.

I fight with the thoughts that I am just crazy all the time. "Must be in my head," I tell myself. Maybe I have mild schizophrenia! LOL. But I know that is not true. They are spirit and the Fey.

I used to see so much more clearly as a child. So many family members told my parents my imagination was dangerous and that I was in my own world too much, so it was surpressed quite a bit. :(.

snowymoon... I understand completely. When I was a child, I was told that this kind of thing was either satan or insanity. Well... i don't believe in satan.... ah the scars ofchildhood

How many times has this happened to you? If you're honest with yourself, I'm sure you'll answer that it's happened more times than you can count. Generally, you would laugh it off as a bit of paranoia or perhaps you were tired. If you're part of a growing group of people, you might claim it was the

Shadow People.

I read this post and literally chuckled to myself. I see the 'shadows' all the time, the only way I can describe it is like when you see a mouse zip across a floor...its in your peripheal and when you turn...its gone.

I see shadows and even dancing lights but have always attributed it to my vision or something in my eyes. At least thats what I have tried to chalk it up to...its one of those things you dont really mention to others lest they think you have lost your mind!

Anyway my gut feeling is that these are just energy...whether from ghosts, spirits, or whatever and I see them everywhere, even at friends house. Anyway I've never gotten a bad feeling from any of them but they do surprise me.

One night I was sitting in the family room and I looked into my bedroom and there...hovering over my bed was a little ball of whitish light. I blinked and it remained but when I went to nudge my husband it dissapeared. Its the only time I've ever seen one of these things straight on and not out of my peripheal. That made me rethink the whole 'its my eyes' idea because though my vision is far from 20/20 I've never seen little glimmery balls of light straight on before LOL.

Til next time,

I see this stuff all the time in my house. I've seen tons of them in friends houses also. They are spirits, but they aren't necessarily ghosts of people who died in the house. Every house, every building has them, I've even seen some in my school occasionally.

I remember one time when I was a little kid, I had gone into my parents room to sleep after having a nightmare, and I saw one of these "shadow people" I guess they are, standing right next to my mom's old rocking chair. Unfortunately this is the one and only time I've ever seen one full on. Of course my parents never believed me, insisting that it was a shadow reflected up off the streets, but it seemed too three dimensional to be a shadow.

LOL. I too have wondered if I have had something wrong with my eyes. I have had LASIK eye surgery too, and I thought maybe it was a side-effect of that, but nope. ;). It is spirit of some sort and energy, I tell ya.

Thats exactly it! They aren't shadows because theyre 3d...even the ones I see in the corners of my eyes are no doubt in my mind three demensional..
Now I don't know about the 'Shadow People' thing..theres only been a few times when I've seen the full figure and that I think could possibly be one of the old ghosts from my childhood coming back into view. But hey! anythings possible.

wow..I wasn't expecting such a response here. Now I'm completely convinced that I'm not crazy...and at least if I am, all of you people are goin to the loony bin with me!:ghostie:

*grins* I'm not ready for the loony bin.

But I have seen the shadows everyone has been describing - except mine show up when I'm extremely sad, scared or angry. And I've never seen them head on, just out of the corner of my eyes.
