Rune and the Tarot

Hiya,
I use both the Runes and the Tarot ~ although I use the Tarot alot more, and so thought it would be nice to talk about if you use both and for readings at the same time?
I often and have been doing so recently ~ Read a spread of tarot for someone then ask them to pick out a few runes..the runes always back up my Tarot reading I find and offer a deeper insight into the relevance of certain issues in the reading.
How do you use yours?

Well I use tarot and runes both in readings every now and then. I usually start with the tarot cards, and than I ask the runes for help when I need something clarified... I am not sure how to explain this to you, but for me it works just fine, and the runes always backs up my tarot reading, and clarifies things for me if I have some questions...

Sometimes I just use my tarot cards or my runes though. :)

Never thought about it. Then again, I try to keep things as simplistic as possible. This would be "mucking" around ~ IMHO ~ and make things more complicated than needed.

Do you think of them as in the same way as the tarot or differently?

I use one divination media at a time, but I might confirm one reading with a follow-up of another. I also find that one media might work better for a general, full spread or cast, & another might work better for more specific questions.

I have a friend ( the one that made your dream catcher, Silver) who lays out a card spread, then a Rune on each card, then a pyramid. Having tried this, I find it very confusing, but I'm more of a "reader", & she's more of an "intuitive", if that makes sense. But she's really good at it.

That pyramid Rune/Tarot spread sounds really good Rick ~ What do you mean by >then a pyramid? Does she then rearrange the cards and runes into a pyramid?
