after I read xblue's thread about some shadowy elements I suddenly remembered an odd thing that happened just a few weeks ago.
It was around midnight, I was lying in my bed, just falling asleep, when suddenly someone, or something kicked me in the back. It felt just as a light kick, it didn't hurt as much as it scared me and I woke up immediately. When I opened my eyes, I saw a dark-brownish thing floating down, through the wall and the floor. I thought I was dreaming, it was so weird, and when I blinked my eyes a few times it was gone.
I couldn't sleep for an hour.
What can you make of this? :/ Any ideas?

Someone was trying to get your attention. You just have to figure out who and why.

I had an experience like that. I was laying in bed with my hand hanging over the head board, I had just woken up, and I felt 5 fingers grab my middle finger an yank. I was surprised but not scared. I sortof feel like someone was just having a little easy-going fun at my expense. I can smile about it now

wow that's interesting.

I would say that it's either residual energy from the people that lived in your house or on your land before, or I go with the "someone is trying to get your attention" theory. You should do some meditation exercises and see what you come up with. Keep us up to date!

Hi all.
I've had an experience with shadows, but it wasn't negative. I was lying on the couch in the front room and over by my open bedroom door, I saw a couple of shadow-like beings{for lack of a better term} on the wall next to the bedroom. I, oddly enough had a feeling that they were my mother, father, and sister's spirits and began talking to them. They moved, not toward me, but just swirled around a bit, as if in response to my talking to them. I didn't sense any menace at all from these entities, and invited them to stick around as long as they felt comfortable. Then, I went to sleep. It was so comforting :floating:
Well, sorry for the long post.
