Hi all!
Well,he looks pretty kicked back, loungin' under that tree.It looks like he's waiting on something. So much of the tree is blue, which always makes me think of intuition, emotion. The word, potential, seems to say one can grow. All the shapes, squares, crescent moons, circles in the tree seem odd to me.Are they ideas? It also seems as if there is something he's going to do.

You said grow and that is a key word. The Fool in all Tarot seems to represent the start of a journey and growth...here it is a little different...I wonder if anyone will see it.
The signs you see in the tree are the signs for the FIVE elements. Fire, Earth, Air, Water, Spirit.

As with most of the Tarots the fool tells us of the begining of a cycle. Picture the fool as a newborn. He is almost always the harbringer of a new phase or life project. The Tarots are a mirror of life and follow a progressive cycle from birth to death. This can apply to our spiriuality, lives, perceptions, projects, or anything else that follows a cycle. Take another look at the face cards or major arcana and see if you cant see the pattern of this cycle. It really simplifies the deck when viewed this way.

I am starting to picture the fool as more of a teenager than a baby. Reason: A baby is a newcomer and does new things because he/she doesnt know any better. The Teenager seems to do things because it feels good and because of the 'Invincible' factor.
Just a take I have been toying with..
