Is it possible to do a tarot reading for oneself?
I'm not a tarot reader, but did try it on myself once, a few years ago.

Thought what i saw was a load of rubbish at first, that it couldn't possibly happen.
But within a week all that i had seen happened!

Am wondering if i really saw it, or was it a coincidence, because I'm thinking of trying again now to help me come to a decision about somethiing.

Can anyone help?

I believe that one can do a self reading, and do it accurately. (who else are beginner's to practice the most on??)

Just be open to what it is the cards are trying to tell you....and take it to heart. I, too, had a similar experience. I did a reading on myself....and doubted myself.....then it came to pass. It just seemed to "far out there" to really happen....but it did.

So, there is my opinion, yes, you can do an accurate reading for yourself. What I would suggest: when doing the reading, tape record it as if you were giving the reading to someone else. Then when you feel you are doing with the reading, leave the cards out and listen to the tape. ;) ...it will be like getting a reading from someone else. :D (everyone knows that the voice coming from the recording couldn't possibly be their own! ;) )

Thanks Dagda, think i'll give it a go.

Don't know the meanings of the different cards, so had to read about each one as i went along, and will probably have to do the same this time.

But i think my higher self already knows what i should do, so it might just be a way of listening to myself. Never have been much good at that!

I do self-readings all the time and they seem to be accurate, although I don't necessarily understand the true meaning when I read the cards - for example when I finished highschool I kept getting readings that said there'd be big changes in my life. Couldn't understand that until I realized I decided I was going to college for computer programming
