I did a Three Card Spread this morning (i'm so newbie, too little knowledge in this), because i'm going to travel next week for vacations. My question was how is gonna be on that trip? What can I expect?! Because I'm going trough some reationship problems.
What i got : Position 1 - Death, Position 2 (Present) - Kings of Swords (Reversed), and Position 3 (future) The Hierophant (Reversed). Three Major Arcana cards.
Can somebody give me light on this... I'll be traveling next week.
Thanks a lot guys.
Love and light,
Ive

Tell me if you can relate to this:
What i got : Position 1 - Death, Position 2 (Present) - Kings of Swords (Reversed), and Position 3 (future) The Hierophant (Reversed). Three Major Arcana cards.
The situation between the two of you is going to change on this trip - it's going to change - b/c it looks like you need to change your ways a little - I get the feeling that you are not the one in control in this relationship - you need to take control over your life and this relatoinship - you need to stand up for yourself when it counts - you can not give in to every demand - it seems you're so used to giving in to his every whim that you are not allowing yourself to be in the relationship you've always dreamed of - that wonderful, loving relationship we all search for - when you start to stand up for yourself - sure - things may not work out with this person in the end - but at least you'll be able to start looking for someone who will make that dream a reality

I'm very new at this too, but I welcome the practice. :)
===================
The death card in the first position suggests a change in attitude or direction--the death of an old idea or way of living, and the stirrings of something new. It's likely in the recent past you had a change of heart, or decided you needed to make some changes in your life. Generally speaking, you should be moving in a more positive direction now.
The King of Swords represents a man. Drawn reversed, this person could be rather selfish and impuslive. He may also be untrustworthy. It's likely this person has significant influence over you, even if you wish he didn't. This card also suggests caution or obstacles while traveling. You may have already come across some stumbling blocks in preparations for your trip, or found that you had some obstacles you had to overcome before you could go.
The Hierophant suggests that you may be traveling in order to meet your emotional needs. (Again, you might expect some confusion over travel plans.) This trip seems to be something you need to do in order to "clear your head." You'll appreciate the change in atmosphere, and that will also bring about a change in your attitude. Hold onto that! You're apparently going to need strength and determination to resolve your issues back home.
===================
Just my take. I'd appreciate your feedback, since I'm still learning this. Please let me know if this hits the mark for you, and let us know how your trip goes! :)

BleedingGraves.... I've the same feeling ... I really want to do this trip I wanna see my parents...But, there is the father of my first daughter (policeman), and my boyfriend, they better don't see each other... (destiny is destiny). I will not do nothing that is in my destiny.
I know they gonna fight or argue some way (i can feel it). I don't want a tragedy, but what can i do. My boyfriend don't understand, and when he drinks is worse.

AstaraMoon and AuroraSilverMist..you're both right! You just need to know the details that i know about the situation. I'm praying to the Universe to give the light...because I feel a big change coming...i don't know if that includes "death" (i don't want that, God). I'm trying to be a pacifier.

Interestingly, Ivelisse...the King of Swords card also suggests a man in uniform, usually involved in law enforcement or the military. I almost said that, and then thought, "Nah, if that's not true it might seem too confusing." Should have trusted my gut. Is the impulsive, selfish man represented by the King your daughter's father, by chance?
The way I see your reading, you need to hold fast to your principles. In other words, stick to your guns! Do what you feel is in your own best interest, even if it's difficult. You're in a position to make progress now if you don't give in.

Well, I can say that my boyfriend sometimes acts as a selfish and impulsive man.... but, my daughter's father used to it when i met my acutal boyfriend... so that's why i'm confused too!!
One possibility is that my daugh's father starts bothering me and my boyfriend when we get there.

Well..OK..my two and half cents worth if you like:
Just based on the simple fact that two out of three cards are reversed, I'd have to say that your trip will probably not be very pleasant.
Death: you are very much facing a period of change and transition. You have to put something(s) behind you that you don't need anymore--this might well be the fears and concerns you have over your ex. The relationship needs to be put behind you so you can can move on.
King of Swords (reversed): Upright the King of Swords represents someone in a position of authority who relies on reason and logic. Reversed, this is a person who can be very irrational in their behavior. Someone who may be quick to anger or to act out of jealousy.
The Heirophant (reversed): Upright the Heirophant can represent the spiritual wisdom and higher knowledge, it also can represent the expectation or need for conformity and acceptance. Again, reversed, this card can very easily represent someone or something that is holding you back from the spiritual growth you are seeking. This may someone else, or it might even be your own attitudes that are holding you back.
You are in a period of transition now, with very important changes facing you. You need to reevaluate your attitudes about yourself, your ex, and your relationship; and leave behind anything that doesn't allow for positive growth. As long as you let someone else control how you feel about yourself, you will struggle with the personal and spiritual growth you crave.
