Many other Pagans that I have met have been pretty open-minded about many things, especially BI/HOMOsexuality. Our religions don't anywhere state that it is 'sinful' or against the will of (the) god[s]. Most of us are taught to pratice tolerance and not judge people from the beginning. One might argue that this doesn't make sense b/c in Paganism, we believe in the whole balance thing and, without one...there cannot be the other. There is no happiness without sorrow; there is no peace without conflict; masc. and fem., etc etc. So, if that is the case...then, why is it okay to love someone of the opposite sex. "I thought there was supposed to be the whole sacred union of the feminine and masucline energies(???)." Well, in most cases...this holds true, so I'm not sure why we Pagans are so open-minded/hearted to these things. I guess we have been put through enough over the years and we don't want to put others through similar tribulations. We empathize and accept people as they are. Also, if you study different cultures and their pantheons, you will see that even many God/desses were considered to be of a BI/HOMOsexual nature. Also, in the old times it was not uncommon for people to have same-sex relations. After all....aren't all acts of LOVE acts of the Lord and Lady??? :colorful:
