I diddn't know if i should put this under this board or the New Pagan one.

I am a new Wiccan, and i also practice the Craft. I have been intrested in the Astral plane and have been reading ways to project your self into it. All the ones i've found were very complex, and i was wanting to know if anyone here had some simple ways.

The easiest way for me to get to the astral plane is through meditation. If you`ve picked up books on the subject start by doing the progressive relaxation that you`ve learned. Once you are completely relaxed, you should feel very heavy, just clear your mind of all thoughts and focus your attention on the blackness in front of your vision. Try not to think and take notice of any thoughts that do come along and push them aside. This method is by far the easiest one I`ve ever used, but depending on how well you did your progressive relaxation this method could take up to an hour or more to be successful.

I've always thought that there was a reason for it not being easy... it can be a very intense experience.

In all honesty...difficulty is in the mind. A year ago this was impossible...now its as easy as driving to the grocery store. Its all in your head...
