My little boy is very sick

Hi all,
My little boy, Darik, is very sick with the flu. I am really worried, all the horror stories on the news about people dying has really freaked me out. He is only 7, but he is a tough little guy and I am concentrating all my energy on getting him better. His fever spiked up to 104.5 today and we almost rushed him to the hospital. Fortunately, we were able to get it back down and have been maintaining it through the day. If anyone can send him energy, it would be very appreciated. My husband and I are working hard towards avoiding it passing to our younger son (3) and ourselves. I hope that all of you avoid it as well.

it is a very bad flu and is killing people ,, I heard on the news that so meny who went to doc was saved cuz they went early on when they had symptoms,, That is what saved em early treatment ,,,

Thank you everyone! I did get Darik into the doctor.. and he says he is doing well. Fevers are all maintained. The doc says he is very strong and will cruise right through the rest of it. I have my family here at MW to thank! All your immediate support helped so much. I showed him and he says "All those people are thinking about me? Thats so nice of them! They must love people lots like me!" He also says to tell you all he is feeling better. And he is a bit. He's still very weak. But the doctor and I are very confident he will pull right through it! Thank the Goddess!

And thank you all, your support means so much. (Even my christian hubby was impressed!)

My daughter (3) had/has that, but she only had the fever and feeling gross for 2 days! I got lucky.
She woke up with a 104.something fever one morn, and the next day too, but after those 2 days shes fine, just a lil cough.
Now my lil sister (2 yrs) caught it reallllly bad ans they had to take her to the hosp yesterday morning.... They gave her steriods (sp) :hairraise .......

But I have not gotten sick yet....

Anyway, sry about the rambling, just had to share my flu story!
