How come there has never been a movie about any of the ancient gods of other civilizations? I mean, people make movies about the monotheistic God, so why not our Pagan ones? Any thoughts?

Well there was Clash of the Titans, I really really loved that movie when I was a kid.
Remember that HBO series about Robin Hood I think it was out around the mid 80s that one did have Herne as a character.

In asia, there's plenty of movies and series about 'ancient gods'. But in the west, I can only recall Clash of the Titans, Jason and the Argonauts, and Merlin.

I think it's largely because movies are made to sell to the masses. The Judeo-Christian concept of God is probably the most familiar in the countries where movies really make the most money, so it's a safe prospect for film companies. I mean any movie focusing on Brighid or the Green Man will probably have an instant "cult following" but they wouldn't do very well in the grand box office scheme of things. A shame really...
