I posted this in the pagan family, but I feel maybe everyone, whether a parent, grandparent, or other, may need to be aware of this potential danger.

Summer is upon us, and many of us have kiddie pools for the enjoyment of the little ones in our live.
This is just a reminder to be sure you empty the pool everynight, and before refilling, clean the pool with bleach water and rinse thouroghly.

Staphylococcus can and will infect you young ones....this is a bactieria that requires medication to get rid of. left untreated, it can cause potentially dangerous medical conditions.

This post is not meant to scare anyone, just to remind you to have a safe and happy summer:)

An excellent reminder Skye!! For those who don't like to use chlorine bleach, at the very least use vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, or equivalent.

That bacteria sounds like some pretty nasty stuff.

mmmmm, fragrent

But I'm sure I'd rather smell of the chippy (ie the vinegar) rather than have my body turned into a bacteria battleground!
