They're Soooooo Beautiful

I just bought a new deck today: The Tarot of Transformation. It's soooo beautiful..... Those are three different opinions, the second not so good, the first and last good. I love the deck. The cards are gorgeous and since it is a deck to "chart your own course to healing and spiritual awakening" the changes that are made to the names and to the Minor Arcana are acceptable. Some Tarot purists (read sticks-in-the-mud :) ) might not like the changes but I do. I have yet to read with it, I'll tell you all how I do as I get to know the cards a bit better.

YOU ARE SO NAUGHTY!!! I've been looking at those for a couple of weeks...can't buy any new decks till January. They are gorgeous cards. Let us know how they read! Do you have the Black Deck by Luis Royo? I'm ordering that next month since I've been drooling over it for 4 months now.

They are gorgeous...have you folks seen the new Gaia Tarot in the works?? Get this-the woman on the High Priestess card looks like me-one half when I was about 10 years old, the other....well, we'll have to wait and see. Apparently the artist uses friensd of hers as the models....

redlady, I posted about the Gaia deck here a few weeks ago. It's gorgeous also! There are too many decks out there, too many that I want and need, anyway!

I know. And it's the most I've ever spent on a deck: $40! I was looking at them yesterday and wasn't sure if I was going to get them. Then last night I had a dream about them and had to rush to Border's today. Oh, they are just so gorgeous!

Egads, you mean it would be as easy as popping into Borders? I received Barnes & Noble gift certs from the family, and went there last night and didn't see a thing that called to me. But Borders is right down the road....maybe I'll buy a bookmark at B&N, take the money remaining and run to Borders and get a new deck!

I really really shouldn't do that.....I've got the Osho Zen arriving any day now, that should tide me over. It should be enough. Why is there always another deck to acquire???
