View Full Version : Anyone know a chant that goes "I am the candle..."

I am not certain whether or not I am just imagining things, but I have a memory of a circle gathering that used a chant that repeated a phrase that began: "I am the candle, I am the light..." Has anyone heard of something like this?

(I'm not really certain I am remembering correctly the words or even if I am imagining it entirely... but I even have a tune in my head that goes with it, so I am trying to figure out it if is my imagination or not).

I found this during a search. It is a poem with that line in it. Hope that helps...
