I was unpacking from camping this weekend; stuck my hand in the bag to look for something and caught the athame between my right pointer and middle fingers. Yeowy!

No just felt pretty stupid :)
On another note, I heard a story last night from a mother who described how her (now 5 year old) boy learned to potty train. Apparently when she was training him one day she caught him peeing in her cauldron. As time went on he continued to do the same and other things in her cauldron. Finally she just moved her cauldron to the bathroom and in that way easily and quickly trained her little boy.

Pain is no fun. Last weekend I (klutz!) slammed my foot in the car door. Broken toes...still not walking well...

Don't those sharp pointy things always get one in the webbing!?! I am an expert on bumps, cut, bruises and my very best specialty......strange accidents. I get through a lot of pain by thinking how ridiculous the injury was and laughing until I am focused on changing pants rather than the owwie. I will most likely leave this world by having a vending machine fall on me because I find the little warning drawing stuck on them (of a screaming stick figure with a vending machine falling) so funny. It is either that or an anvil or piano will fall on my head.
Sorry about your turncoat Athame, I trust you have all your sweet fingers working yet.
P.s. If anyone has had a loved one crushed by a vending machine, I offer my sympathies and apologies.
Blessings,
Cybele ( magnet for sharp things)

Sometimes I wonder what the Gods are trying to tell me (other then "don't stick your hand in places you can't see, ya dork!". :)
