when do you celebrate sabbats?

do you celebrate sabbats on the 'traditional' dates, or on the astrological dates? Just curious :boing:

I'm going to start celebrating them by the astrological calendar, it just feels right to me.

I go with astrological myself and usually after 10pm or so. Of course that is becuase I am home from work and I am most up at night. But yeah, astrological... it just feels right. :broomride

I prefer astrological dates, and usually honor them in some way, even if it's very small. Sometimes a larger celebration is just not possible for me, and so I celebrate as close to that date as I can.

i chose astrological, or at least i try... i'm not even sure if i got this year's yule celebration on time... but that's ok, really, cause i don't do ritual or anything, unless you'd say the log burning is a ritual...

I choose other because it usually comes down to when I can get everyone together or get some quiet time in which to do it...

I like the idea of celebrating them in tune with nature instead of on a date pre-determined by us humans. ;) That's why I celebrate them with the astrological calendar.

I recognize only four solar sabbats, solstice and equinox,
celebrating on the night of lunar concordence for each.

I'm not Wiccan, I'm a Canaanite. So I don't celebrate them.

I voted for traditional, only because I usually go with the date given on the calendar which may not always be the astrological date....

I don't celebrate the sabbats. While I honor the Earth, my spirituality is not Earth-centered and so the sabbats have little to no meaning to me.
