Pagan names.

Hi everyone,

I arrived here via a link from somewhere on the net and was interested in your names ;)

I play an online game called Ultima Online which is set in a mystical world called Sosaria full of magic and mystical beasts.
As you can see my user name lacks imagination ;)

Could someone list the names of some of the gods/warriors/wizards/witches in Pagan lore preferably the evil ones, if there are evil ones of course.

Seriously, I think most people have either meditated and found their name that way, were given their name by the Lady and Lord in ritual or found a name that just resonated with them.

As for evil- I don't think you will find many evil names. There are dark gods and goddesses- you can look in that forum for info on them.

Thanks Chris, I'll take a look. I Haven't explored the site yet.

Hmmm meditation seems out for me, don't think I'll come up with much by doing that. I guess you have to be trained for something like that.
I once took the name Lindell which I believe means tree dweller, or dweller of the forest. He was a Druid Wood elf.
I would also like to find out about their backgrounds and some of thier tales, I guess that's on this site too so I'll check it out.

Most pagans find there names thru spiritual enlightenment. Paganism is a way of life not a game... Maybe you should do some research on what paganism is.. Just a thought..

WillowRaven I roleplay evil in a game not in real life so I'm not into evil things.

I'm sorry Cat just a touchy subject with me. Only way for someone to learn is to ask questions and of course read. You have to understand I have some people just down the street that say they are pagan and live their life thru D & D. They even do rituals according to it. One of their kids was telling my husband who is a Druid what weapons he can have according to D & D. We have told him the only weapon he can have is a sickle but he says no he can have this and this we try to tell him that is in a game not life. As I said it is a way of life. Sorry I was so touchy.
