A five year old girl, having eaten a Baskin-Robbins sherbet that was
sprinkled throughout with popping candies, swallowed the sherbet without
chewing it so that the popping candy, not getting the chance to pop in her
mouth, began popping instead in her stomach causing intense pain and sending
her to the hospital for 2 and a half days where she had to have a tube
inserted into her stomach to allow the extreme amounts of carbon dioxide to
escape.
For those of you who live nearby a Baskin-Robbins, this is the special
''Shrek Swirl'' flavor.
The parents are now suing because Baskin-Robbins refuses to take the flavor
off the market.
