I'm curious as to your opinions as to when to use the formal drawn down version of the circle. I find it too cumbersome for basic ritual, and only use it for actual manifestation, or to hold energy while I'm weaving a spell.
I'd be interested in your views. Thanks and Blessed be.

The only time we Gwyddons cast circles is for very specific rituals (two, actually) ~ so therefore, we don't use them all the time). So, I'm not really qualified to answer your question.

I am very ritualistic by nature...my Path started as a ceremonial...so I use a Circle for most of my works, except for the occasional kitchen-witchery.

Why? Because I am comfortable with it. Thats all.

I have opened up a POLL dealing with the question of using a Circle in Magickal Works...its in the Magick forum.
