I discovered a site yesterday, Ive been looking around on it and it seems to be allright. Its basically an online school for Witchcraft, its run just like a school, you sign up for courses of your choice, I assume there is assignments and things like that, I havent taken a class yet. http://witchschool.com/

There is a thread on that around here somewhere, I'll see if I can find it for you...I haven't signed up yet myself. ...Would this be better suited to the Website Analysis forum? ::shrugs::
Here's the one I was talking about:

I've got a lifetime membership there. I'm up to lesson 9 on the first degree class. It's all info I already knew, but it's a good refresher course and would be excellent for beginners. There are a ton of other courses available, I've worked through a lot of them.

Good place. I wish I could take more classes but I don't have any way of paying and because I'm from Canada the prices are pretty much doubled for me.
Does anyone know of any other sites like this?

PaganCollege.com and PaganCampus.com also seem to be good sites! (I haven't used them personally though!)
Sorry to bump such an old thread; just thought this may be a common question!

I don't feel alone now! :)
I had forgotten that I even bought a subscription there until they billed my paypal account again and I couldn't cancel it :(

I started their Wicca Course but kinda forgot to keep going after sixth lesson. Plus, I decided that Wicca wasn't the path I wanted to follow, but it's really useful for learing basics. They have spell of the month, and meditations, etc. You have a test after you have completed each lesson and can't continue until you have taken the test. I think also, you have to get something like 80% to pass the entire course.
*Edited to add* the basic courses are free to everyone, only certain courses require you to have paid membership

i'm doing the witch school thing right now, i'm a lifetime member, but here's one that no one's mentioned. it's 15 bucks a month, and i don't know whether the quality of the material makes it worth it. i was planning on checking it out later.

Witchschool do not charge for any of their courses, although you do require membership to take certain courses. They do offer a basic wicca course which are free. You just log on and study the lesson, there is a spell of the month plus practical exercises such as meditation, protection, grounding and centering, etc. There is also information of the chosen Goddess of the month, and two weeks later, after you have studied it, you can take the test. It is a multiple choice test, and you need 80% or more to pass.
I think the course is great for beginners or intermediate that want a refresher course. It costs nothing to join up so why not give it a try?
