Hi all!

I'm wondering if someone can help me out.

My nephew has been raving about a "lighted electric toothbrush" that he's been seeing on TV (they're in Illinois). Every time he sees it he gets all excited because you can "brush your teeth in the dark!!!"

However, I haven't seen it, being that I live in the TELEVISION VOID (among other things) out here, and I'd like to get one for his birthday next month.

Does anyone know of such a thing? I'm guessing it must be see-through or something with lights in the middle, and they light up whenever the toothbrush is switched on. But I really don't know.

If you have any idea what I'm talking about, PLEASE get back to me with a possible brand, or place I can buy it. THANKS in advance!!!!

A toothbrush that lights up, eh? I guess they think that plaque will run from light...

LOL Something like that. hehehe I've actually seen some toothbrushes that light up (not what I'm looking for though) that are being advertised for those "Californian blackouts! No excuse not to brush your teeth now!" hehe

The closest thing I've been able to find so far is here:
http://www.hammacher.com/gifts/index.asp

It's called the "60-second clean-teeth toothbrush" and it's listed in the menu "More for children......" half way down the page. However it's recommended for kids 6+ and my nephew is only turning 4.

I think usng the thing would be fine if he was supervised.

I found the two following references to lighted electric toothbrushes:
http://www.napsnet.com/child/50259.html
and a Pokemon electric toothbrush where the character lights up.

Hope this helps.

Could you ask his parents to pick it up and wrap it for you? If they will you could then send them the funds and the card to attatch and you would be set.

One would think THAT would be a simple solution huh Yvonne??? But NOT with my sister-in-law. I honestly don't think she's been paying attention to her son, just enough to know that he's raving about some sort of "electric lighted toothbrush" and why he wants it "so I can brush my teeth in the dark!"

I have asked her TWICE already what brand, where it's advertised, and if she knows where to get it etc. And her answer "Oh I bet you could find it online somewhere..."

GRRRRRR.... She's a stereotypical ditzy blond!!!!

Thanks for the link fantine, it at least gave me a brand name, now I have to find somewhere to buy it. I am fast giving up on this idea... LOL... I think this is one his mother can handle.
