Astrology

Who feels their astrological suits them, and why or why not? Do you put much stock in horoscopes and the like or just find them entertaining?

Recently I was considering my astrological sign and its relation to my life. I am a true Capricorn (both sun and moon, I believe). Thus I'm goal-oriented, strive for prosperity in wealth, career, family, etc., and like the mountain goat I am always too busy climbing the mountain to listen to others whine about how they might slip. I am also very detail-oriented, determined and have a solid base in reality and common sense. This can make me seem cold-hearted or insensitive, because I see challenges as something to conquer instead of something to complain about.

How about you?

P.S. I posted this here instead of in the Astrology section for a few reasons. First, this is personal opinion and banter, not really information about astrology. Second, I think more people see the posts here and thus might be more lucky to respond. Third, the astrology section is quiet and I'm not sure everyone would see the question there. Fourth (and most important), I realized there was an Astrology board after I posted this 8O

I'm a pisces and I feel that I live up to it perfectly. I'm drawn to water - I always feel comforted near the ocean, especially, and I get hyper near any kind of water. My mom used to joke that I was a "little fish" in the water. I am creative, and sensitive - and very emotional, I guess. I haven't read up much on my sign... or any astrological signs for that matter. People tell me that my sign suits me perfectly, and from what I know, I think they're right. I read the horoscopes, but mostly for entertainment purposes only!

Although I think I'm like my sign, sometimes, or would *like* to be (scorpio - v dark + mysterious) that's as far as it goes, I don't think I've ever really gone any deeper into astrology.

I fit absouletely no qualties of a leo! I am a total cancer! HA HA that sounds funny. But really sometimes I think that I should've before the 23rd. Heck, I am only 4 days away from it so... There is always a possibility and it would explain a lot of things.

I am on the cusp of Scorpio and Sag. I feel I am almost exactly like my signs. Being on the cusp is a little confusing.

Well, I am 100% Cancer for sure! I'm just a walking homebody, that's me...very emotional, very 'huggy', and at times, very insecure. Read up on Cancerian traits...my pic will be plastered all over it!!! :D

like you aiyrn, i am a true pisces. i live on the beach and i'm constantly unconsciously walking or driving to the beach not even realizing where i'm going till i get to the edge of the water. i'm a writer and programmer (i think programming takes a lot of creativity too), and i'm a total sap! ;)

My best childhood friend is a Cancer. Even though we don't get along anymore, and haven't since the last year of highschool, it is true that Cancers and Capricorns usually seem to get along. Kind of funny, coz Cancers are said to be emotional whereas Caps are so non-emotional. She was pretty good at hiding her emotions tho, I think her emotions were in the end what made us stop being friends (something I did to upset her, I still don't know what). Oh well!

Generally all of the earth signs get together and so on too. Which is to say I should get along with Virgo and Taurus - my mom's Virgo and my dad's Taurus! - and one of my best friends is very very Virgo. My fiance's cappy too. They say caps don't get along because they're both so driven to succeed they only get along if they remember to take time for eachother. It's so true too, between our busy schedules we have to set one day a week aside purely to spend time together or we start getting into fights. My last ex's were Aries and Sag and I'm sooo not supposed to get along with those two signs. I have one Sag friend who is so nutty and I get along with her, otherwise I never have liked Sags (so far). Anyone want to tell about their friends or SOs and their signs too?

Oh good Gaea I hope so...my daughter is a Capricorn...*forsees loggerheads ensuing in about 12 years :eek: *

My hubby's a Scorpio :D I read somewhere that Cancer and Scorpio are the two most compatible signs of the Zodiac...and you can sure prove it by us :D
