I see you as well. Though I do not think of any quote about the north besides "the north star shows you the way home" We should discuss why this placee is so dead!

I am unsure if any who post here are profession astrologers, I personally am a student of astrology and strive to post things of interest and learning; this forum is open to all that wish to add anything of note as well. Thank you to all who have initiated topics of astrological consequence here.

Bewailing a situation is no substitute for doing something about it. It might give you the feeling that you're taking action, but in
reality no movement occurs towards resolving anything. We often grumble as a way to assuage an issue in our own minds, yet remonstrations transform nothing. Take action, don't simply speculate. Be compelled to take positive activity.

This is not meant as a personal denunciation, as no offense is taken. You have already shown effort in posting your perceptions. I am aware that other than this post you've initiated of which I quote above, your only other begun in this forum has been a personal request for the services of others. It is my hope my answer here has the positive result that along with voicing your sorrows and soliciting from this community you also post on topics of astrological interest.

I have added to posts from others, but do apologies to those that have missed my particular voice as I have not initiated a thread myself in this forum in the past 24 days, but have been posting in the Books, Magic and Rituals, Just Talk, Pagan Family and the Green Room throught the month. My personal time has dwindled considerably of late, much to the dismay of my lover, family and friends. I have been immersed at my workplace with an assignment additional to my role, to which I volunteered my services.

The Medical Center to which I am an administrator of had the good fortune to be chosen to host the National Wheel Chair Olympic Games held in NYC this month. Because most of the atheletes have medical conditions like mutiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, stroke, amputations the preparation time has been 2 years in the making and of course this month has been crunch time for those of us deeply involved to ensure their care, comfort and provide a base to set these amazing people up for success in there athletic endevors.

I look forward to your future addition to this forum's astrological knowledge, data, facts, news, lore and wisdom.

Do not worry you have not offended me. I try to post wherever I can whenever I can, and you are right. I rarely post her. I do not only call on the service of others. That was one time. And I only posted this because this place did seem gone. I just wanted to lure some peops back here some how;) And to have a bit of fun. I am sorry if you were offended by this post, but believe this is not the extent of what I can post. And I will do better in helping this forum come alive! Thanks for your opinion Litha. AS always, you are a smart soul.:D

Now is a auspicious time to get things moving, here at the community and anywhere!

It is a busy week in the stars as Mars, planet of action, makes a big move in Sagittarius, sign of adventure.
Keep eyes peeled to pay a little extra attention to the areas of life that seem a bit stagnant--your relationship, your career, your living situation--because when Mars goes direct this Thursday, you'll find the effort really paying off.

Can you expect a new job or a marriage proposal?
Will you find your dream house or your dream lover?
The answer lies where Sagittarius is located in your chart.
Have alook at your birth chart to help you focus your energy for maximum impact.

ya, know mol, I've always liked you!
hehehee :p
TY for the acclaim, but the ultimate distinction is yours and Semele's for having hewn out of the 'net wilderness this comfy home for us all to learn and share.
I appreciate and respect your huge efforts made on our behalf and in support to the global pagan community as a whole.
I remember when this first began and there were so few us we all knew each other. I am joyous that the community is so large and diverse. Your vision is our reward.

Swannie!
(((Huggles))) to you my dear :)
How has our 4th quarter moon been treating you?

In this Fourth Quarter, waning Moon July 13-19, the energy is soft, subdued, and receptive. Tuesday starts the Dark of the Moon phase, the three days before the New Moon when, like the tide, energy levels recede naturally.

Today, Tuesday there are challenging aspects with the Moon and Saturn, Pluto, and Mars; this looks to be an especially intense day. Aspects on Wednesday offer harmonious reprieve from the intensity of Tuesday.

There is also a Venusian flavor to this week with dynamic aspects between Venus and Saturn and Pluto. Don't be surprised if you spend time on a "what's important to you" review.

Mars goes direct on Thursday after traveling in apparent retrograde motion since May 11. This turning leads to forward motion experience for issues and projects that have been idling.

This Fourth Quarter closes out a phase that actually started in April 1999. The theme of this longer cycle is about abundance of life on earth -- the colours, sensualities, capacities, potentialities, dreams, and longings inherent in human experience.

This longer cycle has supported awareness that abundance exists, in flow of reciprocity, and that a growth fight of inner/outer alignment is often involved in order for abundance to manifest. Look back to April 1999 to see how, perhaps, a plan is now taking shape for you to walk the path that leads to your abundance.

To the energy of this longer cycle we add awareness that the current, shorter lunar cycle started with the Summer Solstice and a Solar eclipse. This cardinal, or initiating, energy time is potent for imprinting the vision of what you want with highest resolution clarity.

As you drift off to sleep each night this week picture what you want and send this image into the dream state -- like putting a cake in the oven and letting it bake. Listen deeply to what comes out of the dream each morning for further refinements of your vision. The next lunar cycle will be time to hold this crystal clear vision like a magnetic attractor.

HUGGLES AND SMOOOTCHIES back LOL
I am continually amazed at the effort you make
to contribute REAL astrology to this forum, and I do truly love posting here , and to YOU !!
You will not believe the synchronicity of this mars retro, going retro on my Bday May 11,and then station and direct on my "exboyfriends" bday
The universe has made it very clear that there was some relevance there , but its very personal,
and still has some minute shreds of fleeting
regret that he couldnt have been the person to have a music gift I received..... but have moved on.. and the gift is being passed on ....
even today I am talking to an astrologer/musician about the music of the spheres and the scales and the music ...........so perhaps the gift was simply taken out of the wrong hands and placed where it would be most appreciated..... sigh ......
I try not to take the stars too personally LOL
as they do shine for us all whether we wake or sleep
So when mars moves direct I am hoping that is
when the energy will freed up and move along
Sag is in my 11th house so hopefully I can find a way to channel the music to someone who can make it available for ALL....
Love and light

Thanks for the kind words; I also LOVE your contributions and comments to this forum. It warms my heart to see interesting conversations going on that I have not intiated. I'm the Moderator, not the Initiator, ya' know? Speaking of intiatiating, Mars went direct today.

Yow! What house did Mars have all this activity in your chart?
Ohhh, 11th house (duh, I see it now). That would mean that the new moon friday July 20th falls in your 6th?
(It's hard to know without a chart, for all I know you were born in Greenland and have interceptions all over the place )
If so, this is the time to regain the truth of your original nature, where the only duty is to be yourself.

All that 11th house energy being activited by Mars direct station brings an excellent opportunity to enlist the cooperation of like
minded people to initiate creative projects or work to further any of your humanitarian concerns.
That Mars pull there initates the urge to move beyond the ego-identity to become something greater than what we are on our own. It helps to have the knowledge you do to be open enough to realize that another is likely out there to do this with , waiting just for you :p

I know personally we can find this at times by identifying with something larger than ourselves, by identifying with an idealogy, a group or a circle of friends. With Mars' station today, this is a time to re-evaluate how we function as a part of a whole, and how we feel about group dynamics in general. Find some time to day to do that. You just may meet that one you've been thinking of!

crickets? I didn't know I sounded like crickets?
hey, I've been posting and Draedon was answering; we weren't waiting for anyone.
Li, I know you do start lots of the posts, but I dont think that it's your responsibility to start stuff all the time when things get quiet
anyhow, astrology is like life, peaks and valleys, busy times and quiet times
I'm not surprised that this forum was calm what with all the retrograde planets!
keep up the goodwork Litha and I don't think any criticism was meant which is why you're not offended, it's just that some dont realize how much one needs to know to become proficient enough to figure out the effort that goes into understanding astrology much less the effort it takes to put together a piece about the subject.
just to be able to synthesize everything together not only takes talent but time.
I'm amazed at your schedule and that you still have time to add new lessons all the time.:bigredgri

I'm glad you liked the new lessons :p
I know ones in the past were rather lengthy and people got a bit discouraged when things didnt automatically click, but like you mention, real astrology takes study and perserverance.
The sun sign bologna that fills newspapers and trendy magazines give astrology a bad rap and lead people to believe it's like potato chips instead of a baked potato, skin on and all :bad:

Merry Merry,
I might just get a chance to get published and do a bit more than "sun sign bologna " in a local newspaper!!> ( Go ahead ask me if I am excited LOL) Somtimes things are SO serendipitous and beyond coincidence ......ironic to be defending yourself one day and the next have something wonderful happen , and this just keeps happening ,,,,,,but let me tell you .....
my keyboard was sticking. The space key..... over and over..... I cleaned it but it kept on sticking.... so one day this past week I am writing something and in midsentence decide to go get a new keyboard...... and of course while I am there , seems there is a new top of the line printer..... marked down $100...... so I am asking what will this printer do the less expensive one wont..... and the sales rep says "what do you want it to do?"
Well..... I need a printer that will print my work, I am an artist... for the actual publications I wuill probably have to go to Kinkos or something ...... and this wonderful woman standing there says ...... I can do your publishing ....as well as they could ......
And gives me her card . Then she says ...... I am also one of the publishers of The Coconut Times ..... which is a well known local paper.
So I say ..... do you have an astrologer..... and she says ( picture this in the Wal Mart now)
NO but we could use one...... could you write one column per week in the summer, one per month in the winter?...... and I SAY>>>>>>
I CAN DO THAT and I have my own art work as well............ soooooo
have a look see at the paper the Goddess picked for me........I have been waiting and waiting to call any papers until Mars went direct,,,, and just as it did .......LOL
I think it helps to have my mars trine the the mars in Sag ....... hehehe now how to write real astrology for the local paper ...... LOL
Love and Light

YAHOOTIE!!!!
Oh Swannie, I'm ever so HAPPY for you!
That is way fabu:bigredgri :heartthro :D
I imagine this publisher is telling the same story, except on her end she's saying, "Our paper really need an astrology column; where am I going to get someone? and the next thing I know there's a lady right next to me saying she can do this for us!"
Serendipity is my favorite flavor, triple scoop please!
