Can this be true??? I was at my local grocery store yesterday, waiting at the checkout line and my eyes fell to the rack with the tabloids and the TV Guide. There on the cover of the TV Guide were the words that Juliana Marguilies was to star in "The Mists of Avalon". I couldn't believe it - I only hope they don't screw it up. Maybe everybody knows about this but I choose not to watch television and this was the first I heard of it. I'll have to get someone to tape it for me. Maybe we can do an on-line critique of the show and let the network know how "actual pagans" view their representation.

The TV movie of Mists of Avalon will be broadcast on Turner Network Television (TNT) on July 15 and 16 starting at the following times (Eastern): 8pm, 10pm, 12am.
Both parts will be broadcast in their entirety on:
Friday, July 20 starting at 8pm Eastern
Saturday, July 21 at 12pm Eastern
Monday, July 30 at 8pm Eastern
Check out www.witchvox.com for a pre-release review.
All times and dates listed above are from the TNT website www.roughcut.com.
I'm looking forward to seeing how well the book was adapted. I'm sure parts will be left out because the book is rather complex, and they decided to only do this in two parts, rather than like the six parts of James Clavel's Shogun (which was a very good adaptation).
